Walmart Beauty Box is a quarterly sample box – just $5 for the shipping and handling. It is not my favorite beauty box but if you want a sampling experience for items you can buy at Walmart, this is your box!
Remember that I’m over 35, so I get the “old lady box” based on my profile. Walmart now lets you select either the “classic” profile or the “trendsetter” profile. I just let mine be the classic profile and didn’t alter anything in my account.

3 sample packets of a new straightening shampoo. This went straight into the donate pile, because my fine hair doesn’t need to be any more intensely flat than it is. However, it’s great for a summer box when hair might be frizzier!
Degree Motionsense Sexy Intrigue Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant ($2.39) Do I think that my deodorant will make me super sexy? No. But the scent, a blend of jasmine and red rose with with amber and Tahitian vanilla, is nice. I always appreciate a good standard item in a box and can’t say I’m ever disappointed with getting deodorant (except when I have to stick my fingers in it).
Tom’s of Maine Fluoride-Free Rapid Relief Sensitive Teeth Toothpaste ($0.92) I really love that this product is in the box. The ingredients help solve sensitive tooth problems and yay for toothpaste!
Swisspers Blotting Paper Oil Absorbing Sheets ($2.39) Swisspers is the queen of cosmetics paper products! I didn’t know about their blotting papers so I loved learning (and trying out!) these really inexpensive blotting papers!
Caress Fine Fragrance Mystique Forever ($0.53) This is a body wash said to release scent on touch – and last 12 hours. I received this twice last year in a different scent.
Aveeno Skin Relief Gentle Scent Lotion ($0.60) This was a great product to try out – a gently scented lotion that doesn’t irritate. I love coconut so this scent is perfect for me for summer.
Jergens Natural Glow Fair to Medium Skin Tones Daily Moisturizer ($2.07) This is a great no-mistakes tanning moisturizer, because it only has a little bit of self-tanner in it, enabling you to add on the glow!
My box had a kind of sad $9.55 in value, but I thought that the selections were actually pretty great and very summer focused, combining an anti-frizz hair regimen, self-tanner, blotting papers, and 2 summer scented products (toothpaste can always be used!).

I just signed up last night, and it didn’t let me choose which box I wanted. I got the “Old Lady” box, too…lol.
I just got mine today. Instead of the Aveeno, I got Burts Bees milk and honey lotion. Instead of the deodorant I got Pantene air spray. And instead of the three L’Oréal haircare sample packets, I got 4ml of the Simple micellar water, Nivea in shower body lotion packet, 2 L’Oréal serum packets and 2 L’Oréal cream packets (age perfect and revitalift).
Wow! I am still waiting for mine to ship. I am never notified. Sucks, knowing that what I thought was happening, is. I am the very last to get mine. I am always left wondering if I’m even getting one, even though I signed up a year ago.
I got the same box also and at first was disappointed but I have to admit that I have already used 5 of the products and I am in love with the toothpaste. I also liked the lotion a lot,especially the scent. So I guess this box really served it’s marketing purpose, because I know I will be purchasing the full size of at least 2 items.
Yeah, I got this box too and thought it was pretty good – certainly better than some of the past ones. Like you, I don’t need the anti-frizz hair samples – baby fine straight oily hair here – and am pretty darn tired of that Caress stuff, so those will be given to someone. Deodorant is always useful, too.
