IMG_5828Snack Sack is a monthly subscription service that sends boxes filled to the brim with a combination of organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, all-natural, vegan and fair-trade snacks to your door every month!

IMG_5829Like always, this box arrives chock full of snacks!

IMG_5831I love how, in addition to the plethora of snacks, the box includes coupons toward your next purchase.

Each month the box arrives with a list of its contents. I love how easy Snack Sack makes it to identify the gluten free, vegan and non-GMO snacks!

Mediterra’s Sesame Energy Bar with Pistachios and Honey ($2) was good. The sesame seeds add a nice textural dimension lacking in many nutrition bars, and the honey adds a subtle sweetness.

IMG_5833Justin’s Maple Almond Butter ($1.50) is conveniently packaged for on-the-go snacking. The maple adds a subtle sweetness to this almond butter, which I liked. I think this makes a lovely alternative to peanut butters.

IMG_5844Earnest Eats Almond Trail Mix Bar ($1.62) is a delicious nutrition bar. Although it looked very much like a nutrition bar, it tasted more like a soft cookie. Thinking my son would love it, I offered it to him. He took one bite, declared it delicious, and accidentally dropped the rest of it on the floor. He and I were both very sad.

IMG_5839These Veggie Dippin’ Chips (price unknown) are the perfect shape for eating with dip. That’s great, because on their own, they taste like kale, carrots and spinach. They’re not bad, mind you, but they’re not what I am generally looking for when digging into a big back of chips. I like that these nut-free chips were made in a nut-free facility.

IMG_5843Cosmos Creations Sea Salt and Butter Premium Puffed Corn ($1.49) is very sweet. While I liked this more than the last flavor of theirs I tried in this box, it still wasn’t my favorite. It did have the texture of cheese puffs, which I appreciated.

IMG_5834Mocu’s Strawberry Lemonade Pizzazz Chia Nutritious Drink Mix ($1.25) tasted good! After mixing it with water, the water had a slight lemon berry taste to it. The chia seeds became nice and tender, adding a textural element to the drink that reminded me of bubble tea.

The only difficulty I had with this was that the chia seeds didn’t stay suspended very well. I had to mix well between sips. Also, the chia seeds liked hanging out on my spoon. None of this is a big deal unless you want to get all the nutrition available from the chia seeds.

IMG_5845Got Snacks?’s Cinnamon Honey Roasted Coconut Chips ($2.88) were extremely yummy! After a bite of these, I passed them along to my two kids who devoured them. Think Cinnamon Toast flavor with a roasted coconut base. Yum!

IMG_5841Black Forest’s Organic Gummy Worms ($1.33) were so good! They tasted just like the regular version, which I love! Colored with fruit and vegetable juices, these are yummy gummy candies to feel good about!

IMG_5836Homefree’s Lemon Burst Mini Cookies ($1.14) are a delicious gluten-free treat! Honestly, if they hadn’t told me that this is a gluten-free product, I never would have realized it! These were a big hit with my kids too. After eating one myself, I never saw the bag again.

IMG_5842Route 11’s Lightly Salted Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips ($1.20) were nice and crunchy, just the way I like them. Delicious! They’re seasoned with an unrefined, mineral-rich sea salt from Utah.

IMG_5840This Mega Omega Trail Mix from Power Up ($1.49) is super yummy! The mango and cranberries add a nice sweetness to the nuts. I could eat this all day every day. So good!

I was able to fit all of this month’s snacks inside the included burlap sack. I love these sacks! After they help keep my review-writing organized, I use them to collect my kids’ toys.

I loved how Snack Sack delivered a ton of relatively healthy snacks, yet each one was substantially different from the other. Some would be perfect for lunchboxes, others for treks, and still others for lounging around the house. Some were extremely sweet; others were tart. Some were soft, and others were crunchy. Some were made of fruits and vegetables, and others were principally nuts. In short, whatever your snack persuasion, Snack Sack would deliver. We can’t wait to see what they send us next month!
