Put A Bow On It showed up in the subscription box scene kind of like a ninja — nobody knew it even existed until a couple months ago, and suddenly everyone was talking about it. With other Canadian lifestyle boxes already well-known, that this one gained such a following in a short time is really exciting! I love lifestyle boxes (and am envious of all the American options) and I’m pleased to be able to review their May box! This box only ships to Canada at this time, and shipping is free.

The packaging is so pretty! Every month has different wrapping; it really does feel like you’re opening a gift just for you!

The inner box is printed as well!

Even the ribbon is printed with the box’s name and they included a handwritten envelope containing the information card!

Mario Lorenz Tote This is super cute and perfect for the beach! The design is printed on both sides and it’s fairly roomy.

Sunshine Cooling Towel ($10) Oh my gosh. Where has this been all my life? I hate summer, to be honest. Give me spring or fall, with bright skies but cooler weather interspersed with rainstorms anyday. Extreme heat gives me sunstroke, and I spend most of my time hiding under a sunheat. With this small but mighty towel, I might be able to last longer than ten minutes in the heat. Soak the towel, wring it out, and it stays cool until the water has evaporated. It’s long and skinny, so it’s good for wrapping around your neck to keep your head cool. I need a snuggie made out of this.

L’Oreal Silky Sheer SPF50 ($8-10) is right about perfect for me — pale skin problems. This is non-greasy and lightweight, and absorbs quickly into the skin. It’s also water-resistant for 80 minutes.

Water Bottle I need to drink more water; I always tell myself that having a cute water bottle will motivate me. This one is great to clip to your bag or purse with the carabiner!

Morgan & Grace Reed Diffuser This smells amazing. I love anything coconut and the papaya makes the perfect summer scent!

Blistex Good old Blistex! I have so many lip balms but I actually do need more with SPF in them; it’s so easy to forget to protect your lips when you’re out in the sun. I haven’t tried this tropical flavour yet!

June’s box had an awesome summer theme! I really love the handiness of the cooling towel and the reed diffuser smells amazing. Put A Bow On It is becoming one of my new favourites to unbox! There were some different variations on the designs in this June box, so I’m curious so see what other options there were!
