June’s OwlCrate theme is Royalty! Owl Crate is a monthly subscription of books and bookish items box.   Each OwlCrate will contain one new Young Adult novel, as well as 3-5 other bookish items all matched to a monthly theme.

First look and I couldn’t wait to dig in. I do consider myself a princess so this theme is so perfect for me.

The information card has brief information about each item and a few notes about the theme. Funny they also mentioned princesses since that is where my head went when I saw the theme.

Everything in the June OwlCrate.

My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows ($10.58) – I like that OwlCrate sends brand new releases. This one just came out at the beginning of June.  I love reading and watching things that are loosely based on history and royalty and this one sounds really fun.

At sixteen, Lady Jane Grey is about to be married off to a stranger and caught up in a conspiracy to rob her cousin, King Edward, of his throne. But those trifling problems aren’t for Jane to worry about.Jane gets to be Queen of England.

Like that could go wrong

It also came with a note from the authors and a fun crown.  I think I”ll wear the crown while reading this and see if my boys say anything.

Rich Love Shoppe Lunar Chronicles Bracelet: Being the huge Disney nut that I am this bracelet while inspired by the Lunar Chronicles series also goes for Disney and I LOVE it.

Red Queen print by Evie Bookish (I don’t see this one but others go for around $13.00)- I’ve never heard of this book but I love the print. I’m going to have to check it out.

Mybookmark coupon ($10.00) This is a coupon for $10 off however the bookmarks all look to be $25 on the site.  They are pretty awesome bookmarks though.

Royalty magnetic bookmarks from CraftedVan (these are exclusive but others go for about $9.00 CAD) – Until I started getting these boxes I had never really used magentic bookmarks but the more I get the more I like them. These are so cute and while I think they would be great in a book I’ll be using mine in my Disney notebook.

Disney Vinyl Mystery Mini ($8.02) – Eeehhh my princess loving self was just a little too excited to get this box.  It was also surprisingly heavier then I was expecting.  When I opened it up and I had Merida I was happy. She is such a fierce girl and will look great added to my collection.

Another month and another OwlCrate with for me.  I’m adding this book to my to read stack and since I’m going to the beach soon I’ll be doing a lot of reading.  I love reading on the beach.

If you haven’t already seen the theme for July is Good vs Evil and while we will all get the same book the boxes will be themed either Good or Evil and we won’t know which we get until we open it. That in itself is exciting and then they let us know we would be getting a full size Funko POP in their too.  Next month’s box is already looking AWESOME!
