Writing my kitties name is a nice touch! Puss in Boots is the orange cat with white paws. Zelda is a calico. Little Lamb is a mostly white fluffy cat. Puss in Boots is in his teenage years and refused to come in to do the review. A couple of other cats gladly took his place.

The Meowbox is sealed with a feather. Guess who came over to check the feather out?

I’m sooo excited to see cat socks! It’s the purrfect gift!!! I see cat toys that the kitties will enjoy playing.

It’s National Pet Month! The items in the box are listed here instead of on the information card. The digital artwork is by Mike Brennan, who also does custom pet portraits. J, age 7 and I are partial to the kitty on the left which reminds us of Puss in Boots.

The Feline Greenies Dental Treats in Ocean Fish Flavor (2.5 oz, $1.89) were a big hit with the cats. They loved them.  Notice the wet slobber marks near the treats on my cutting board? It took me about six tries before I could capture a cat-free picture of the treats.

Bramble kept photobombing my pictures. He was determined to eat the treats regardless of what I was doing. He is one persistent cat.

The FoxyTricksforCats Cat Wand (Appx $10.00) is handmade in the mountains of Poland. It is the most beautiful cat wand I ever saw. I love how the colors blend into each other. It feels like knitting yarn to me.

The Leopard Ball with Removable Feather by Amazing Pet Products ($3.00?)  is a fun toy for the kitties to enjoy. The kitties played with the ball and the feathers. Only one cat took the toy apart.

Zelda was the only one to detach the feather part from the ball. I do believe she is the most intelligent kitty out of the whole kitty clan.

Yummy! The LeKiwis Watermelon Wedge (appx $6.50) is made in the USA with 100% organic catnip. The kitties went wild over it. Most of the pictures of them playing with this toy did not turn out because they were always moving.

It was also Sylvester’s favorite toy. I hope that we will see a Cat Bow Tie from LeKiwis in a cat subscription box. I think Sylvester, our tuxedo cat, will look adorable in a bow tie. Sorry for all the fur in the picture. Little Lamb is shedding hair everywhere.

J helped me plant the Dunecraft Chris Catnip Science Kit ($4.96). It’s a cute little kit. It did get poor reviews on Amazon. I have sprouted everything that has been sent to me so far in subscription boxes and am hoping that this will be no different.

Here’s my favorite part of the box! Somebody surprised me with the Mother’s Day add-on! The Little Cat Ankle Socks ( appx $3.16 each, $6.32 total) are the most adorable socks ever! I love socks and will be wearing them a lot. The ankle cut is perfect for the summer. I love the pattern and will be wearing them often!!!

Sylvester, a farm cat vacaying at the main house, is happy to be Puss in Boots’ stand in. He went for the feather toy right away.

Whiskers is the sweetest cat ever. She is Momma Whiskers to all. She is having fun with the toys.

It’s hard to believe that Little Lamb’s parents are a feral tomcat and a semi-feral mom. He’s my biggest baby.

The cats loved Meowbox! They enjoyed playing with their toys and eating their dental treats. It was delightful to watch them play. Each cat has his/her own personality and ways of playing.  I am very happy with the socks and loved that they thought about mothers of furbabies. T The May box value is around $26.00 which is below the cost of the box. The January Box’s value was a few dollars above the box price. It’s my opinion that the best value for your money is a longer subscription commitment when it comes to pet boxes.  Meowbox also donates a can of food for every box sold. A can tracking number will be sent to you so you can track your can and find out which shelter received it.
