May 2016 Glossybox Subscription Box Review & Coupon

Glossybox is one of the original beauty subscriptions. You’ll get 5 luxury samples per month for $21. They have great packaging every month with the outer box (above) around the inner box (below).  Everything fits so well together.

Oh my look at my bow.  Last month it was tied all pretty but again this month it is a mess.  I don’t know it it just isn’t getting tied good or if the mail is just tossing it around so much it comes untied.  Oh well.  I do love these boxes and have been reusing them to wrap presents in since they are so sturdy and I love the way the lid comes off and makes things pretty inside.

Glossybox has a great folding information card with all the products and all the information.

Talika Photo-Hydra Day ($28.99) – This is a moisturizer that recreates the effects of natural light so that you will have a natural summer glow all the time.  I really like the concept for this one however it doesn’t have any sunscreen in it so it won’t be worked into my daily routine but I might have to bring it out for special occasions.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara($8.00)  – I really like the Benefit products that I have tried however I have so much mascara right now so I will be passing this on to someone.

Rituals Cosmetics Shower Foam in Zensation ($3.58) – Ohhh I’m excited for this one.  I love a good shower foam or gel and I can’t wait to give this one a try.

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme ($8.50) – Another daily moisturizer but it again doesn’t have sunscreen in it so another one I won’t really use. My grandmother loves all the Estee Lauder products so I will pass this on to her.

Nioxin System 1 Cleanser and Scalp Therapy Conditioner ($1.65) – I’ve never used this brand but I love this size sample bottles so I’m going to toss these in my togo bag.

This was just a meh month for me but with last months being so great it was bound to happen.  There was nothing in here that just really jumped out to me and while I’ll use a couple things I’ll pass most of them on. I do like the sizes of the samples this month and I think if I would use them I would get to give them a good try so that is great and I’m ready to see what is in their next month.
