June 2016 Artistry Gifts Subscription Box Review

Artistry Gifts offers three different subscriptions – a bimonthly gift wrap box, a monthly themed box, and a themed box plus gift wrap subscription. My review is for the monthly themed box. The monthly themed subscription box consists of 4-5 wonderful giftable items that you can gift or keep for yourself! Items may be candles, spa items, home, jewelry, snacks, stationary and more!

The items are wrapped in tissue paper. My box may be larger than yours because I ordered two add-on items.

My sister and I had fun unwrapping the items in the June Artistry Gifts Box. Most items arrive wrapped in tissue paper.

The June theme is Vacation Essentials.

I did not peek! The information card lists items, prices, and description.

The June subscriber choice was a wallet case that protects the magnetic stripes on credit cards from being scanned.

The June Box will have me ready for vacation time. I’ve been writing packing lists in my head!

I selected the Lady Jayne Wallet Case with Identity Theft Blocker ($10.49) in tropical floral as my June subscriber’s choice. It measures 3.5″ by 7″ and is a hard case wallet. Inside is a mirror, 4 mini pockets, 3 long pockets. It has ID theft technology on it that prevents the magnetic stripes from being scanned.  No worries about dealing with credit card theft while on vacation!

I love the design of the Lady Jayne Globetrotter Luggage Tag ($11.25). The faux leather tag is sturdy with a durable strap. I will be using it on my Deux Lux Bag. Maybe, one day, I will visit Paris!

It looks like the boys ate the Zilicious Confections Caramel Corn (8 oz, $8.00). I can’t find it anywhere! I did try it when I opened it for the review picture. It had a delicious sweet and salty taste with the right amount of caramel and salt. It also tasted fresh. All the kids would own up to is that it was so yummy that they kept eating it. Popcorn is first come, first serve in my house.

The Made in the USA Illume Indica Lavender Mini Candle (.5 oz, $3.00) has an amazing lavender scent. The candle wax is a blend of paraffin and soy wax with a burn time for up to five hours. I stuck my nail in the wax by accident which you can see in the picture. The scent is part of the aromatic family with top notes of Bergamot and Sea Salt Mist, followed by Herbal Indica and White Lavender The base is White Patchouli and White Cedarwood.

The Illume Cactus Verde Lotion Sample ($0.50) rubbed in easily. It smelled green to me. The scent is a blend of cassis, sea salt and wild geranium.

I am excited to see another Fragrances of Ireland sample. The Caru Perfume Sample ($2.00) smells warm, light, and romantic to me. I can’t pick out a distinct note. Fragrances of Ireland describes it as

Top notes of soft fruits and bergamot with juicy green notes keep the heart of red berries, jasmine, iris, freesia and rose fresh while a background of vanilla, patchouli, bittersweet ambers, fragrant woods and musk give an earthy soul to this romantic fragrance.

Knock Knock What to Pack Horizontal Pad ($7) I remembered when the pad was featured in the March 2015 Popsugar Box!  I will be using the sheets as we pack for our vacation. It’s a fun, light-hearted way to prepare for vacation. ETA There are two sheets included as a bonus. The $7.00 value is for the pad.

Time for Add-On items!

I decided to add-on a couple of items to my June Box. Artistry Gifts sent out an email to subscribers offering a discount on add-on items.

I selected the Sweet Jules Salted Caramels ($11.95) because the whole family loves them. The decadent vanilla buttery caramels have a slightly salty taste. They are gone already! The family ate them in two days.

I also ordered the Best Dad Ever Frame ($19.95) which is a 8″x 10″ frame that fits a 4″ x 6″ photo. The boys will be giving daddy a special picture on Father’s Day.

The entire family enjoyed the June Artistry Gift Box. I will be using the wallet and luggage tag on vacation. The boys loved the popcorn. The candle and samples are great pampering items. I am writing up the packing list and checking it twice! I liked that Artistry Gifts offered the add-on option with the items shipping in the box. Artistry Gifts is one of the few boxes that offers a subscriber’s choice for most months. It’s a box that arrives at the beginning of the month breaking the “where are my boxes?” blues. I always enjoy the items and find them to be useful!
