My Geek Box is a monthly subscription of geek goods shipped directly from the UK to your front door. Each month you’ll get a mystery box filled to the brim with geek gamer and retro gear, including a limited edition t-shirt in your chosen size. Every month they choose a different theme: from zombies, to superheroes, to video games and even your favourite films. It’s not only the theme which changes from month to month, either – each box is unique, filled with a fresh batch of awesomeness. Because it ships from the UK, shipping costs factor into the overall expense of the box.
Here is everything from the box.
Yummy Breakfast Key Chain by Kid Robot – $4.99. Chained to your keys and a reminder to eat a balanced nutritious breakfast. I’m not real big on key chains but I’m sure the wife or kid will enjoy it. It’s a nice item for the box though – Kid Robot is definitely a coveted brand!
Zapptronic 2000 T-shirt. There are a few theories as to where the Zappomatic 2000 originated. There was no description sheet to let me know if this is, in fact, from Futurama or not. We did finally hunt it down – it’s a reference to The 5th Dimension, a ride at Chessington World of Adventures This is the most obscure item in a geek subscription box, ever and now I have gotten it in two My Geek Boxes in a row.

Megabloks Spongebob Squarepants Wacky Gym Building Playset – $8.99. Larry the Lobster loves working out and you can help build his weight bench. My niece enjoyed this toy.
Ghostbusters Ecto-1 – Titans Vinyl Figures – $14.99. I absolutely love the Ghostbusters. This car, unfortunately, kinda looks like it’s made out of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. It looks like a cake topper.
Doomsday Mini-Statue by Eaglemoss – $74.99. One of Superman’s greatest foes (heck, he killed the Man of Steel once upon a time). This is a heavy little guy for being four inches tall. Doomsday is also hand painted and is the coolest item in this box.
This box was a nice surprise. I liked receiving Doomsday a lot but there were disappointments as well (I’ve gotten this t-shirt twice now). They are worth checking out however as there are some excellent items that come your way.
