Dia & Co is a monthly personal styling subscription for plus-sized women. It’s like Stitch Fix, but for plus sizes. Fill out your profile and sizing information, pay a $20 styling fee (refundable against anything you choose to keep), and have 5 items selected by a stylist sent straight to your home to try on. Dia & Co includes free shipping each way. If you keep all 5 items from your box, you’ll receive a 20% discount.
Everything arrives neatly folded and wrapped in tissue.
The invoice shows the price of each item plus my potential discount if I opt to keep all of the pieces. Each month, your stylist will include a note with tips on how to wear the pieces or integrate them with your existing wardrobe. This month, I got a new stylist – Stacy. I’m hoping that she will have better luck dressing me than my previous stylist, Brett.
These are the styles that I selected when I signed up. I made it a point to emphasize that although I work in an office, I spend a lot of my work day outdoors and live in Florida where it is VERY humid, so I need clothes that are climate friendly and easy care. This month, I asked for more warm weather and casual pieces.
Everything in my box!Fashion to Figure – Rae Top ($32.00): This top is perfect for Florida. It is lightweight (cotton/poly/spandex blend, I think – no fabric or wash instructions on the shirt), and the navy/white combo is a classic summer color scheme. I like that this doesn’t cling, but is flowy. What makes this unique, is the criss-cross design on the back. I was afraid that it would show some unflattering back rolls, but it didn’t.
Mai Tai – Ruth Top ($42.00): I like the layered look of this top, and again, it is light enough to wear to work on the hottest days. On the hanger, this looks like it has drop armholes (why is this a fashion trend?), but they weren’t as large as I expected when I tried this on.Rafaella – Jeannie Stretch Pant ($72.00): Um, I totally wore these as soon as I opened the box. I love a good navy pant – great alternative to my staple of black pants. And if you remember from a previous review, I got another pair of Rafaella pants that I really liked. So, this was pretty much a guaranteed purchase item. The pants are a slim fit twill with a little stretch. They are SO comfy. You can’t tell from looking, but there’s a bit of elastic in the waistband. My stylist was able to pair these with both of the tops that I received too. I found these on sale for $36, and Dia & Co. were able to price match for me. Who’s a happy girl now!?!Junarose – Angela Dress ($89.00): I think maxi dresses are great because they are easy. Throw one on with a pair of sandals and you’re ready to go. This is a lightweight jersey with a sheer hem and neckline panel. The dress also has high slits on the side (they start above the knee). The fabric makes this dress a bit more versatile, so you can stay casual or dress it up just by changing out your accessories. This is another piece that I found on sale. Again, Dia & Co. were able to price match for me. I absolutely love that they are willing to do that!!!
Lorie Bracelet ($28.00): This is a pretty multi-strand stretch bracelet with mint marbled beads and gold accents. However, I have large wrists, so it fit tight. The jewelry model in the picture is my sister. Guess who’s getting this as a gift? LOL
And now for the looks. I think Stacy did a great job with her selections. Do you agree?
I was extremely happy with this month’s Dia & Co. So much so, that I decided to keep the entire box! On my original invoice, my total was listed as $190.40 with my discount. After price matching, that dropped to $115.46, nearly a $75 savings! It definitely pays to do a little research. I’m excited to see what Stacy has in store for my next Dia & Co. box. I’d love to hear about your experiences with this subscription, so please leave a comment below.
