Bramble Box is a monthly subscription box sending imaginative play kits to kids every month. You’ll get fun gender neutral play kits around a theme every month that will inspire your kids to creatively explore. Play, role play, and pretend play are all essential to achieving developmental milestones. The kits arrive in a cutely decorated box with printed graphics of Bramble’s fox logo and images of some of the dress-up themes.
NEW: You can choose the themes of your first 6 boxes at checkout, or choose a “surprise me” theme! Each new subscriber will receive a Welcome Pack in their first box with crayons, glue, and a booklet for collecting stickers (it has spaces for a year’s worth of Bramble Boxes). Look out for a new sticker to collect in each month’s box.
The theme for this box is My Flower Shop.
The box came with a mini booklet with instructions for making three kinds of flowers.
Materials and guidance were also provided for displaying your flowers. There were doilies for making bouquets, pots, and even stuff for creating a big basket out of the box.
The booklet also featured a short bit of trivia related to the theme, as well as photos of kids showing off their Bramble Box creations from the previous boxes.
Bramble Box always comes neatly wrapped in tissue. I love Bramble Box fox — he’s so calm and contemplative.
Everything that is in the May Box! There were sooo many pipe cleaners!
Two of the pieces to the “basket” had spaces for creating a label, so both the kids were able to create a label for their side of the basket.
The accordion flower had the best look to it. Here we are folding layered tissue back and forth to make a zig-zag fan-like piece that will be carefully spread to form a flower blossom.
The Box also contained some fun things to turn our flower project into a flower shop. We got some signs, a price list, and play money. These bits also make it easy to sneak in some basic math and money-handling practice.
By trimming the tissue a bit, we were able to create a variety of looks for the flowers, and we even stuck a few in a vase to keep as a centerpiece!
Our kids really enjoy Bramble Box. The crafts are simple in concept, but they allow boundless creativity and encourage imaginative play. Tdhe crafting is only a small part of the fun, as the completed sets get used over and over (many are food-related and become part of our play kitchen at home).
