Boxycharm June 2016 Subscription Box Review

BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full size samples every month. In the past the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes have been able to maintain a high value.

The June theme was Girls Just Wanna Have Sun!

The first beauty item that caught my eye was the OFRA Cosmetics Laboratories Universal Oil Control Pressed Powder ($39.95). This product is designed to keep your makeup intact all day, and is perfect for oil control. I tried this out, and although it helps with the oil (and I have oily skin) I do not feel as if it stays put all day. I found myself reaching for this after about 4 hours.

Girlactik Beauty Precise Liner Marker ($20) I am not a huge eye liner girl, but this seems like a great product! The tip makes for a perfect dramatic line. I tried this on my hand, and it took me several times of washing to get off, so it absolutely is water proof.

I love feeling like a million bucks, and I think that body and face shimmer really gives you that feel. Cougar Beauty Face and Body Shimmer ($19) works wonderful for feeling this way! It is formulated using feather like shimmering minerals, and it adds a sparkle when lightly brushed on!

The Farmacy Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask Medley (3 Pack $24) is a perfect way to wind down in the evening. The coconut milk provides hydration, which is perfect for right before bed time!

Last, but not least was the LVX Nail Lacquer ($18). The blue color is absolutely stunning, and the formula is amazing. It has not chipped and has been on my nails for 4 days now! The best part; it is free of the 5 toxic and harsh chemicals found in most common nail lacquers!

Here is the color on. Although It could use probably three coats instead of one, its a beautiful nail lacquer!

The value of this June’s Boxycharm was about $118, which is fantastic! Even if you’d never pay those prices, I think it’s totally worth it, and I love that Boxycharm really sticks to including actual makeup in the boxes most of the time.
