Birchbox June 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupons – Multifaceted & Mighty Box

Birchbox is a beauty sampling subscription box. You’ll get at least 5 items every month (I often get more) to try out and see what you love. Birchbox is $10 a month, plus you accumulate points after reviewing the items in your box! You’ll get 10 points per item reviewed, and 100 points are equal to $10 in the shop.

LOC One and Done Shadow Stick – Haute Cocoa OR Heavy Petal ($10) I love love love the LOC Shadow Sticks! They swipe on effortlessly and just. stay. put. Seriously! And could I be happier with the light rose gold Heavy Petal? No I could not, it’s my favorite shadow color!

The Beauty Crop PBJ Smoothie Stick – Raisin the Roof ($14.95) I love The Beauty Crop (and So Susan, which at least were one time related companies, I think they separated and rejoined) because of their darling packaging. Look at those blenders! This light creamy-ish lip crayon had a taste I couldn’t pinpoint – it’s almond butter and goji berry! It’s a pretty soft mauve, kind of like a blended up PB&J. At least in my mind.

Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer ($2.52) A nice rich moisturizer with hyaluronic acid plus extracts of Calendula, Green Tea, Chamomile, White Tea, Black Tea, Lavender, and Arnica. This is scented, so after discovering that I relegated it to my chest and neck. It tingled my face a little bit so probably isn’t good for sensitive skin.

NUXE Rêve de Miel Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel ($1.43) This gel is supposed to keep your skin hydrated while removing your makeup. It’s also scented something amber-flavored, but it wasn’t the kind of scent that bugs me on my face.

Davines Authentic Cleansing Nectar Hair/Body ($9.16) How decadent – I’ve never used a cleansing nectar before! This is an oil based hair and body cleanser with carthame oil – Birchbox says safflower and carthame, but carthame = safflower in French. It smells like a natural shampoo.

Davines Authentic Moisturizing Balm Face/Hair/Body ($2.12) This is basically an oil/butter based balm that will moisturize your skin and hair as well as dissolve makeup! I love a multitasker!

I am certain this is the highest value curated Birchbox ever – about $40 in value – and the highest valued Birchbox that I’ve received in a really long time.
