White Willow Box is a Canadian subscription box featuring lifestyle items that are thoughtfully curated and selected. Boxes ship in the beginning of the month from Vancouver.
Everything about WWB feels luxe and special — like you’re getting a gift!
First look! The information card always features a pretty print.
It folds out to reveal the contents, details, and suggested retail prices. I’ve used the retail prices online (and converted to Canadian as well) for this review.
(Note: The other card, which featured wine & cheese pairings to go with the preserves included, vanished amidst all of the boxes and wrapping from my
marathon unboxing. Sorry I couldn’t get a photo of the reverse!)
Flora Bodycare Natural Body Scrub ($17 CAD) I’ve seen this popping up in other Canadian boxes months ago and always wanted to try. It smells like vanilla cookies. I’ve never tried a dry scrub like this before, so this will be fun to try. It says to leave it on your skin for a few minutes before rinsing, which I never do with my scrubs, so I’m learning something new. It’s loaded with lots of healthy oils which sound great for your skin.
Dauville Bottle Coaster ($18 CAD) I didn’t know bottle coasters are a thing, but I don’t drink wine so I’m using this on my vanity to store trinkets and jewelry. It’s hard to get a view of the design top-down, but you can see a profile shot on the product page link.
Artisan Edibles Raspberry Cardamom Jelly ($13 CAD) Two flavours were sent out; the other was Blueberry Lavender. I’m glad I got this one (I hate lavender) and I can’t wait to try this on some toast with cream cheese! Artisan Edibles is from Parksville, BC.
Infinity Scarf ($24 CAD) It’s not exactly scarf weather, even up here in Canada, but this is a very lightweight and soft circle scarf. Three prints were sent out, and I like the blue — I wear a lot of blue!
Brookside Pomegranate Chocolates ($5?) This is a little bonus treat! I love Brookside chocolates, although I prefer the blueberries to pomegranates. But these are really good and I ate the bag within minutes.
May’s WWB had a nice mix of items — I feel like the bottle coaster and preserves would be great hostess gifts! I’m excited to try that scrub as soon as I can, too. The value for this box is great, well over the cost of the box for subscribers. As always, the curation is always really good with WWB. Even if there’s an item in a box I personally dislike or won’t use, I can always find someone to gift it to.
