A huge box arrived for the doggies! Pet Treater is a monthly subscription that provides high-quality treats and toys for your beloved canine. When you use the code provided below, the first box ships with a complimentary dog bed, which you can see in Brandy’s review and my review. There are three different boxes available based on weight. Small which is 0-20 pounds, Medium which is 21-50, and Large is 51 + pounds.
This box is huge! It is also for my largest size dog, Odie, a half Border Collie and half Labrador mix. The box is definitely put together by dog people (and their dogs) — it shows in the carefree styling and attitude of the box.
There’s a letter written to Odie, our Borader, by Brody, the Pet Treater Amigo. Brody gives tips on the perfect nap. Odie agrees! The letter also reminds subscribers that every box purchased results in a toy, bed, or blanket being donated to a shelter pup!
The May theme is Doggy de Mayo! The June theme will be Unleashed! The May Animal Rescue Spotlight of the Month is Second Chance Rescue in Whitestone, NY.
The May 2016 Pet Treater for large dogs was packed! I can’t believe how many items are in the box! Bella, the mini Rat Terrier, and Odie, the Borader, will be reviewing. Daisy gave it a good sniff and declined due to lack of acceptable babies. She did have fun reviewing the April Box.
I am not sure why I received two red bandanas (appx $6.00 each). They may be aware that I have multiple dogs. The red bandana reads Let’s Fiesta then Siesta. I think it also applies to teenagers!
Odie is on the left, and Bella is on the right. They are looking at the PetTreater box that is on the cat condo behind me. They know there must be treats in that box.
The Exclusively Dog Jerkeez Taco Flavor Chewy Dog Treats (7 oz, $3.74/Sale Price) smell like tacos! It’s 100% sourced and made in the USA with chicken as its first ingredient. The biscuit is soft enough to break into smaller pieces allowing Bella to enjoy the treats too. Odie and Bella loved them.
The dogs loved the Pet Chef No Guilt Treats – Fido Fiesta (1.75 oz, appx. $3.75). The treats are freeze dried treats that are made with chicken, fruits, and vegetables. It is another cute doggy treat that is right on theme! Pet Chef also makes customized meals for your doggies.
The Pawsitively Gourmet Doggie Pastry (appx $2.00) is a yummy taco shaped cookie for your dog! It is made in the USA with whole grains and has peanut butter in it. It was a little hard to break in half to share with the two dogs.
The doggies enjoyed their treats. Those are the only two pictures of them eating treats that don’t involve long snouts or lots of teeth. They are not pretty eaters.
Sorry doggies, Bozo scares me. The dogs love the Multipet Bozo Dog Toy ($9.18) and haven’t destroyed it yet. It’s a fun tug of war toy.
Odie loved the Boots Barkley Braided Rope Toy (appx $10.00). I based the price on other similar toys. The size is suitable for him and sturdy. It will last a long time and go through many tug of war games with him!
The dogs and cats lined up for their massagers. The Silver Tails Senior Pet Products Hand-Held Massager ($11.57) promotes circulation and relieves soreness. It has a telescoping cradle that will fit almost any hand. It can be used on cats and dogs. I like that body care items are included in the Pet Treater box.
The human gift this month is the Ganz Silicone Personality Pot Holder – Chicken ($6.50). It came in the original packaging. It is dishwasher safe. My 7 year old thought it was a fun choice.
Did the adorable doggies like their toys?
Bella and Odie felt that Bozo made a fun tug of war toy.
Bella wins! Her nails will be clipped soon. She is uncooperative when it comes to nail clipping.
Odie is pleased with his rope toy!
Somehow they squeezed next to each other as Odie chews on Bozo again. Bella is looking to see if any food crumbs fell to the floor.
Odie is enjoying his massage after his mini photo shoot.
Sylvester snuck over and made believe he was one of the black and white dogs. He loved being massaged. I am holding it incorrectly in the picture. One of these days I will remember to read directions.
A Hello Fresh Coupon was included. Currently you get can a $50 Discount on your First two Boxes with coupon code HELLOMAY50! If you just want to try one box save $40 off your first box with coupon code 7UT7K8.
The PetTreater Box was a hit with the dogs. They loved the treats and toys. The estimated value of the box is over $58.00 using sale prices and guessing at a couple of prices. The treats fit the theme and are made in the USA. The toys were the right size for Odie and for sharing. The pets loved the body care item, and the human item this month is useful. The dogs looked adorable in matching bandanas! The doggies give this box four paws up!
