OleaBox Time of the Month Subscription Box Review – May 2016

Don’t you hate it when you reach for that much needed pad or tampon, and it is not there!!! You know that time is coming, and where is that pain reliever for the cramps? I need chocolate NOW! Well if you can relate to any of these concerns, I have a box for you. The OleaBox offers both natural and traditional tampons and pads. It also provides chocolate, treats, and little surprise presents. Maybe a little extra caring will make the whole thing more bearable!

I noticed that my name is on the card which is a nice touch. The tissue is also a calming color.

The box is $15.00 a month plus shipping. There’s a survey that you fill out selecting your time of the month needs. First, you select tampon, pads, or both. Next is absorbency – light, medium, or heavy. The third step is to select organic, traditional, or mix. The brands are listed on the information card and on your selection.  The fourth step is deciding to pay monthly or every three months at a $3.00 discount.  The last step involves customizing your delivery which also includes a note for food allergies.

The top package contained the care package portion. The items are listed on the right-hand side of the information card. No allergies were listed. Every box offers non-gmo chocolate, organic tea, ibuprofen, and a couple of surprises.

I was surprised by the amount of items in the box!

The  Natural Vitality Calm Plus Calcium Drink helps restore the magnesium and calcium balance causing a feeling of relaxation. The Traditional Medicinals Organic Ginger Tea assists with digestion. It is a spicy and pungent tea. Relaxation and reduced bloatedness sound great to me.

I am excited to see the Angel Face Botanicals Super Detox Deep Pore Facial Cleanser Sample. It is an excellent natural brand. I use their toner every day. Advil is a popular go-to when experiencing cramps. The TCHO Dark Chocolate “Nutty” Bar lets you indulge without going overboard. The luxury chocolate squares have a subtle nutty taste even though there are no nuts. Of course, I had to try one and enjoyed the complexity of a nutty taste with a bit of an espresso finish.

I will be using the organic muslin cotton pouch to hold my time of the month necessities. The artwork poster is pretty. I enjoy anything outdoor related.

The Natracare Ultra Pads come with wings and are wrapped in a biodegradable purse pack. It has a certified soft organic cover with an absorbent cellulose core. It is free of plastic, perfumes, dyes, and chlorine. They are also biodegradable and compostable. Works for me!

The Seventh Generation Ultra Thin Pads have contoured wings. The pads are free of dyes, and fragrances. It is whitened without chlorine. The absorbent material consists of wood pulp and Lysorb which is derived from wheat. It’s another good selection.

I like that the Olea Box is a Time of the Month Box that offers eco-friendly choices. It also provides traditional choices for those that prefer them or a mix of natural and traditional products. The treats and care items fit well for those that are seeking organic, natural or non-gmo items. I liked the box very much because it fits into my lifestyle choices. It was also nice to receive a little surprise! It’s a pleasant way to deal with one of those things that need to be handled.
