MorpheMe Brush Club May 2016 Subscription Review

MorpheMe is a monthly makeup brush subscription from LIVEGLAM that promises at least $30 worth of Morphe brushes each month for $19.99. They offer month-to-month plans or an annual subscription for $239.99. If you sign up for an annual subscription you will also receive a Morphe 350 palette worth $25 in your first package.

Everything in the box! My MorpheMe brushes arrived in a padded mailer and had a protective sleeve around each item. I received 3 brushes in the May shipment.

This month there was a product information card that listed the names of the products and their retail value.

The flip side of the card introduced a new rewards program. You earn points both for being a subscriber and for each referral sign up. You can also win prizes for holding the lipsticked lips of the mailer up to your face, taking a selfie, and posting it on social media.

MorpheMe doesn’t guarantee a certain amount of items each month, however, they do state that the total value will be at least $30.

Morphe E1 Deluxe Powder Brush ($22.99) I have never owned such a fluffy powder brush before now! This has a super full head of bristles and I am in love. I easily applied powder from my compact evenly all over my face with this baby. According to the product card, this is a new item from the Morphe Elite II Collection which will be available soon. There was a similar brush with the same code on their site marked down to $13.99. I believe they must be discontinuing the current Elite Collection and replacing it with Elite II.

Morphe M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff ($5.99) This brush and the one below are both from the Master Pro line. Morphe offers 10 different lines of brushes including a vegan line. This goat-hair bristled eyeshadow brush is rounded and fluffy and can be used to apply product to the lid.

Morphe M441  Pro Firm Blending Crease ($5.99) This brush is also made of goat hair and was perfect for blending a darker shade into my eye crease. I used a windshield wiper motion, back and forth, and this brush blended it perfectly!

I really love this subscription! My brush collection has doubled in just two months but about 5-6 of the brushes I have received have been blending crease brushes so hopefully there will be more variation next month. The brushes were soft yet firm where they needed to be and are very nice quality. I yanked on the brushes to see if the bristles would fall out but they stayed put. The May package was worth $34.97 so they also delivered on their promised value. Whether you are looking to expand your brush collection or just want to shake things up a bit this is a great way to do it.
