Gillette Shave Club Subscription Box Review – May 2016 Fusion ProGlide

This plain white box is full of all of your shaving needs.  Gillette Shave Club is a men’s shaving subscription that provides a razor, refills, and shaving cream at a low monthly rate providing you with the essentials to an incredible shave.

This susbscription offers 3 options: Mach3 Turbo ($16.99), Fusion Proglide ($19.49), or Fusion Proshield ($22.45). The frequency ranges from once per month to once per every 6 months. You can also purchase these bundles on Amazon, with or without a subscription.

Under the veil, is the initial look at the items within the box.  They are displayed quite nicely with descriptions and their own space.  This is laid out quite nicely.

Straight to the point shaving essentials.  Razor, extra cartridges and shave gel.  The advantage to getting this service is the fact that Gillette makes incredible products and now it is all available for a low monthly cost.  The same pack on Amazon sells for $27.98-31.99 (depends on the day).

Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive Shave Gel.  The “Ocean Breeze” scent smells clean and makes the comfortable shave that much easier.  The packaging is rust-free which I know can be an annoyance with many shaving cream/gel canisters.There is even a clear gauge to let you know how much gel remains.  The twin pack of this shave gel on Amazon sells for $14.43.  I don’t need that much in a month however.

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor is fantastic.  The head of the razor actually moves with you.  This is great for those that like a gully clean shave.  It also works well for those that want to add style to your beard or goatee.  This razor sells on Amazon for $12.97 (with 2 refills).

Easy to replace cartridges will get you through the month.  This razor is absolutely wonderful.  4 refills from Amazon are going for $19.47.

The included booklet gives you some insight on the products and service you are receiving.

This is a great service, especially if you’re like me and tend to forget to buy items you need at the store.  The razors are amazing and I get a remarkably close shave. It was also a good value to get it directly from Gillette – saving about $8 per box.
