Dia & Co is a monthly personal styling subscription for plus-sized women. It’s like Stitch Fix, but for plus sizes. Fill out your profile and sizing information, pay a $20 styling fee (refundable against anything you choose to keep), and have 5 items selected by a stylist sent straight to your home to try on. Dia & Co includes free shipping each way. If you keep all 5 items from your box, you’ll receive a 20% discount.
Everything arrives neatly folded and wrapped in tissue.
The invoice shows the price of each item plus my potential discount if I opt to keep all of the pieces.
Each month, your stylist will include a note with tips on how to wear the pieces or integrate them with your existing wardrobe.
These are the styles that I selected when I signed up. I made it a point to emphasize that although I work in an office, I spend a lot of my work day outdoors and live in Florida where it is VERY humid, so I need clothes that are climate friendly and easy care. This month, I asked for more warm weather and casual pieces.
Everything in my box!
Oddi Alexa Top ($46.00): This is a 3/4 sleeve thermal top with chiffon trim. This faux layered look has been all over the place, and I’ve got a few shirts that are similar. However, this looked better on the hanger than on me. I felt that this would be better on someone with a smaller bust – from the side I looked like I was expecting.
Fashion to Figure Bootcut Jeans – light wash ($44.90): These jeans were comfortable, and I like that they had a bit of stretch in them. I normally prefer a darker rinse, but the Boho vibe from the light wash and slight flare won me over. These were a little long on me, but I can make them work with either a wedge or boot. I’m 5’7″ for reference.
All I need is a flower headband, some sandals, and a hobo bag to finish this look off. Even Lily wanted in on the fun.
Fashion to Figure Isla Dress ($44.90): The hanger did not do this dress any favors. I’m not a big fan of the skater dress. The fitted portion tends to fall just under my bust, making me look like I don’t have a torso. I have the same problem with empire dresses. The problems of a large chested girl. I also didn’t care for the Ikat print – it was too busy for me. On the upside, I did like the length and lightweight cotton-blend of the dress.
The stylist’s note said to pair this with flats or sandals. I’d have to go with a strappy sandal.
Naked Zebra Sleeveless Blouse w/ String Detail ($44.99): This is a lightweight crepe top – perfect for summer. From the front, this looked fine. However, from the back, I looked like a can of busted biscuits! It showed EVERY roll I had. Also, the deep V design in the back was sexy, until you hit my bra line. If the top hadn’t looked pulled, I might have been able to hide the bra band with some fashion tape. I’m afraid that if I’d gone up a size it would have been too big.
See, no bueno.
Stripe and Chevron Infinity Scarf ($30.00): I love the mix of patterns and colors on this scarf. It is a great piece going into summer since it will complement the reds, navys, and whites that are worn during the season. You can’t see it in my pictures, but this arrived with a pull in stripes and a discoloration in the chevron.
While I love scarves, I am terrible at figuring out how to wear them. Infinity scarves are easy – double loop and go!
This month’s Dia & Co. was really in line with what I’d asked to see. However, I didn’t have much luck with the pieces. Definitely keeping the jeans though. Every girl knows how hard it is to find a pair that look good on. I’d love to hear about your experiences with this subscription, so please leave a comment below.

I disagree. You look beautiful in that dress! I don’t like the print much either but I think that dress really flatters you!
Thanks for the compliment, Jess! I think I had a hard time getting around that print to see the silhouette from the dress on me.
