A June Film Box Spoiler from Boxwalla!

In our first three Film boxes we introduced you to three giants of Cinema: Luis Buñuel (Spain), Yasujiro Ozu (Japan) and Robert Bresson (France). We will use these three filmmakers constantly as references, to establish connections between various film movements, as well as to explore the work of great filmmakers from different countries.

We start the summer film festivities with the Italians, exploring the many distinct voices throughout the history of Italian Cinema.

The June Film Box Theme is ‘Roma’. Each June Film Box will contain two Italian films from The Criterion Collection. One of the featured filmmakers is Italian master, Fellini.
