Bookcase Club Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2016 Blind Date Case

We received this subscription box for our review. Hello Subscription may earn compensation via links in this post. Read the full disclosure

BookCase.Club is a monthly book subscription box. Every month you’ll receive two handpicked books in one of eight genres. (For the children’s picture book box you’ll get four books!). This is an inexpensive book subscription – less than $15 including shipping per month!

When you sign up you’ll pick the genre. I selected Blind Date, because I love Paranormal Romance novels! They just added 2 new subscriptions – quarterly cookbooks, and quarterly military history.

There isn’t much to these boxes when you open them since they are just two books and a note.  Both of my books were paperbacks this month which is a little different since I normally get one paperback and one hardback but I’m ok with it since they are easier to curl up with and read.

The selections for this month.

This months note from Melissa.

Darkest Fire by Tawny Taylor ($13.48) Oh WOW just look at the cover of this one. If that doesn’t scream hot and heavy romance novel I’m not sure what does.  I can’t wait to read this one.

In a wicked game of seduction, who’s the hunter and who’s the prey…

Drako Alexandre isn’t merely the handsome billionaire playboy everyone thinks he is. He’s the leader of his generation of Black Gryffons, destined to protect humanity. And though Drako has no desire to be tied down–except at the private bondage club he frequents–the future depends on him taking a wife to bear him a son. He knows just the woman–Rin Mitchell, a delicate beauty who unleashes his deepest primal hunger. Their agreement will ensure he’ll never have to give up his desire for domination, forbidden pleasures, and multiple lovers. But Drako’s chosen prey is also hiding something. And if her secret doesn’t destroy them, the explosive passion she ignites just might…

Indigo by Gina Linko ($7.50) I love a good YA novel so this one should be good. I think it will be a nice compliment to the heat of the first book.  I love the history and mystery surrounding New Orleans and books, tv shows, and movies set there so this one already has a big plus with me.

A curse? A gift? A moment that changes everything . . .

Corrine was only reaching out to help her little sister when her touch brought a violent surge of indigo light. In an instant, Sophie was dead. Determined to hide her deadly curse, Corrine distances herself from the world, refusing to touch anyone she loves.

When her family moves to the mystical city of New Orleans, Corrine meets Rennick, a talented artist with a dangerous past. He opens her eyes to other possibilities and suggests there might be more to her gift. But after what happened to her sister, can Corrine trust Rennick? Can she trust herself?
The haunting New Orleans setting gives this suspenseful contemporary YA romance a unique twist.

I’ve not heard of either of these authors but they both sound like good books.  One with a lot of explicit scenes and one a little more on the tame side with both falling in the paranormal realm.  I’m going to add these to my stash.
