May’s Barkbox has arrived! Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. We selected the large box for our three dogs. Bella is a Rat Terrier, Odie is a Borador (half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever), and Daisy is an English Shepherd. You can save $10 on your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213 or get a free month with your subscription with code FREEMONTHWITHBARKBOX
Daisy is ready for her Barkbox! She waited a whole month for it.
The paper matches the theme. It reminds me of a picnic!
The May Theme is Country Fair. I can’t help but laugh at the card. We have two dogs that look like Holstein calves (black and white baby cows) and two herding dogs. Well more like 1.5 herding dogs. Odie prefers his Labrador Retriever side.
Daisy kept sticking her long snout on the table. She could smell yummy treats!
No wonder Daisy had a hard time waiting! Lots of goodies and babies for her in the May 2016 Barkbox.
She’s eager to start her part of the review. Eating and playing!
Daisy loved the Butcher’s Block Trachea Chew ($3.00). It’s a beef chew made in the USA with USA beef.
Daisy approves. She’s on the lead so I can snap photos away from the tree line.
Daisy begged to try the Nana’s Natural Chicken Jerky ($8.00). I was surprised by the thickness of the chicken jerky. It smelled good enough to eat. It is made from USA chicken. I will give them to Bella and Odie because Daisy has a chicken allergy.
Lamb is the first ingredient in the Craft Dog Treatery Donut Holes ($8.00). Daisy happily gobbled down a few of the USA made treats to test them out. Yummy! Now I want a donut.
The Bark & Co Slobbery Sunflowers – Large ($16.00) is a larger version of the sunflowers that Lindy received in the small dog box. The bouquet is four separate crinkly sounding flowers that are held together by a Velcro closure ribbon.
Bark & Co Dingo the Scarecrow ($12.00) has ropes for his arms and legs. He makes a great chew toy and baby. He also comes with a squeaker.
What did the dogs think of their toys?
Daisy felt that Dingo was a baby. She did not feel that the flowers were toys or a baby. She wanted the flowers taken away.
Sylvester is still working on his modeling skills. He thought they made great sleeping companions. He’s a cat so what does he know?
My sister sent me a cell phone picture of Odie and Bella playing tug of war together. Put your bets on Bella. She can be quite a ferocious little dog when she chooses.
Bella won her prize and is trying to rip it apart. She also had fun playing with the slobbery flowers.
Daisy is wondering what is wrong with me trying to persuade her to play with flowers.
She did throw around Dingo the Scarecrow a little bit before giving him a bath.
The dogs loved the Picnic theme. They enjoyed their snacks and toys. It’s fun to watch how the dogs interact with their toys because their personalities are different. Daisy has Dingo living safely under the bed with her other babies. Barkbox has an excellent themed box with fun toys and treats. The dogs look forward to receiving Barkbox each month!

Did the country fair box you receive contain the premium toy for the extra $9?
Holly, thank you for asking! It did not.
