I had no clue what to expect! I do see socks and a tumbler. Fitness this month?
The theme is get a “grip!” I’ve noticed that the themes are not typical subscription box themes. What a fun idea!
The May box is colorful with different prints. I was very touched to see my name on the tumbler.
I gasped when I saw the personalized tumbler. I am touched that it has my first name on it. It is hand wash only and looks to be an insulated double wall tumbler. I go by my middle name on the blog so no peeking at the wonderful personalization! It fits in with the theme of how we need to get a “grip” on ourselves by drinking water and being strong on the inside.
I have never seen socks like the Notes to Self I Am Strong Socks ($9.99). The Made in the USA socks are a size medium low-cut socks. They are made out of 72% cotton, 20% nylon, 6% polyester, 2% spandex. I was surprised to find out that they felt like athletic socks when I tried them on. They are athletic socks with arch support and breathable mesh. I am going to put them in my sock rotation as I start running again.
5 Wacky Women counted the Positive Affirmation Stickers ($1.99) with the socks. No complaining about stickers! The stickers are a great reminder for your subconscious! I love it!
I need the Andreas Silicone Non-Slip Jar Opener ($7.99) in my life. It is Made in the USA, dishwasher safe, and silicone coated on one side. It sticks to any smooth surface including the fridge which is where my jar opener is now located. Watch out world! I can get a “grip” and use my “strength” to open any jar. No more waiting on my teenager or husband to be around to do it for me!!!
The Charles Viancin Daisy Coaster ($2.99) is adorable. It grips well to the surface and is dishwasher safe. It also will not stick to your glass when you remove your beverage from it.
I think I will use it with the mason jar. I like how the flowers match the coaster!
I enjoyed the creative take on the May Theme “Get a Grip.” The personalized tumbler touched me. The Notes to Self socks and stickers are marvelous. I like the unpredictableness in the patterns that are included in the box. It is no ordinary coaster or jar gripper. It is a superior version. It’s also a great box to break the beginning of the month blues! This box arrived in the first week of May and put a smile on my face!

I really enjoy seeing the reviews for the 5 Wacky Women. Although there is nothing in the box I cannot live without they are all fun things to receive. Since my budget does not allow me to subscribe to many of the boxes I enjoy “receiving them” through the reviews.
