Zlicious Confections Oatmeal Cookie Popcorn ($4) I was afraid this was going to be salty, but it tasted exactly like an oatmeal cookie and was totally delicious! The popcorn is coated with cinnamon and oats and really really fresh.

Stay Sweet Macs Coconut Lime Macaroons: I love lime, my husband is crazy about macaroons – what are we going to do?!

Fortunately 4 of these gems arrived in the box! They’re flavored with fresh lime zest and graham cracker, rolled in white chocolate (also a husband think), and scatted with graham cracker crumbs.  These are really packed with flavor and stick with you a long time!

Glee Gum Gum Pop ($0.91) Glee Gum is chicle-based natural gum and we got strawberry and green apple. The kids will love these but they aren’t a hit with me personally.

Ticket Chocolate Grasshopper Pie Bar ($6) I have to admit, when I pulled this out my brain was like NO NO NO NO NO. I could just see this being insect flavored, but fortunately there is no grasshopper.

This bar has crunchy cookies and minty white chocolate in a milk chocolate base. I wished it was more minty!Treatsie Box April 2016 (10)

The cookies inside were fun!

I was pleased with the variety this month! I didn’t have a price on the macaroons, but I have purchased artisan macaroons from the farmer’s market for $2.50 each for my husband, so unusually, I was impressed with the value too! I’m always excited to open this box!

Treatsie’s awesome gift deals are back, still working, just checked, (up to 3 free months!). Or if you want to try out one box there are two ways to save – get $10 off with FBSAVE10 or free double the sweets with coupon DOUBLESWEETS

The coconut macaroons are 4 for $6 on their website. http://www.staysweetmacs.com/menu/
That brings the total for the box to $16.91. I am consistently disappointed and angry about my Treatsie box value at this point. I signed up for a year after two very good months, and I will definitely not renew. I particularly resent how they inflate the prices of each item in their website store. Selling past market value and misleading your customers about the value of their subscriptions are both business practices I will not support.
