Love with Food is a popular snack subscription that now carries a gluten-free option! It is a fun snack discovery subscription available in three versions: classic tasting box, deluxe/family size, and gluten-free. This version is the gluten-free box, but you can see our reviews of the other versions too.
You can save 50% on your first Gluten-Free box by using this link. I had more than my fair share of tasty gluten-free treats because my sister eats a 100% gluten-free diet. I also had emergency gall bladder surgery a few years ago and a gluten-free diet was recommended to me after surgery.
Love with Food donates a meal to a hungry child every time a snack box is purchased!
The information card is the centerpiece of the Love with Food Box. It contains the names, ingredients, and has a color-coded key. The color coded key indicates which items are gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and/or non-gmo.
I can’t wait to see what is in the box!
I see a few favorites in April’s box. Lots of yummy food waiting to be eating!
The Japanese Curry Beef Jerky by Lawless Jerky ($5.99) is made from 100% grass-fed beef. Yes, you can taste the difference! The tangy, flavorful jerky has a mild heat. It reminds me of a beef soup. It has no preservatives, nitrates, or nitrites.
The Gluten-Free Corn Pasta by Le Veneziane ($6.35) is Italy’s top selling 100% corn pasta. It is beautiful packaged in a cardboard box. Yummy! I love that food that can be served as the main dish is included in the box.
The Roasted Kale by Rhythm Superfoods ($5.77) has a bit of a flavor to it. The Chili Lime gives it a little kick. The seasoning is just right! Triple washed Organic Lacinato Kale is used and is full of vitamin A, K, and C. Another name for Lacinato Kale is dinosaur kale!
The Coconut Oil Kettle Cooked Potato Chips by Boulder Canyon are a hit with my sister who is visiting. She thought it tasted crunchy with the right amount of salt. It reminded her of a homestyle potato chip. I thought the chips tasted a little oily. It is made with potatoes, coconut oil, and sea salt. The chips are gluten-free.
The Sea Salt Kale Chips by Simply 7 Snacks has a green, crunchy taste. It is more flavorful than expected. The chips contain 79% vitamin K. The seven simple standards are clean ingredients, no added preservatives, 0 grams of trans fat, no artificial colors or flavors, gluten-free, simple ingredients, and simply delicious.
The Black Rice Crackers by Laiki ($0.75) is a great crunchy mindless treat that makes it easy for me to reach the end of the bag and wonder how did I eat them all. My sister felt it reminded her of Bugles. I love how it says on the package that it has rice, oil, salt, and nothing else.
The Organic Gluten-Free Maple Waffle by Honey Stinger ($1.50) is my favorite snack from the April box. It has a crunchy, cookie-like texture with a slight sweetness from the maple. I am planning to order some from the shop!
The Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar by The Gluten-Free Bar is crunchy with a light peanut butter taste. My sister claimed this because it is chocolate and peanut butter. The bar is packed with 12 grams of protein.
Are you looking for a vegan, gluten-free cookie? The Double Chocolate Crunchy Cookies by Enjoy Life is what you need! It is a crunchy chocolate cookie. I am a fan of Enjoy Life products although I prefer my cookies to be soft.
The Fruit Snacks by Tasty Brand have substance to them. It has no gelatin and is fat-free. It’s a great snack for kids and adults alike.
The Hazelnut & Chocolate Energy Snack by Ritual Energy ($1.50 each. $3.00 total) does not taste like an energy bar. It tastes more like a chocolate brownie with a light hazelnut taste. The soft, chewy treat will be an adult treat because it has 100 mg of caffeine.
Love with Food included coupons and discounts!
The April Love with Free Gluten-Free Box was full of tasty items. Tangy, sweet, and salty were all represented. The variety provided something for everyone. The jerky was a pleasant surprise. It’s hard to pick a favorite item. My favorite item is the Stinger Waffle. My sister loved the jerky and the rice crackers. I am happy that a pasta item is included because they are expensive in comparison to non-gluten pasta. It’s another yummy month!
