Dia & Co is a monthly personal styling subscription for plus-sized women. It’s pretty much just like Stitch Fix for plus sizes.  Fill out your profile and sizing information, pay a $20 styling fee (refundable against anything you choose to keep), and have 5 items selected by a stylist sent straight to your home to try on. Dia & Co includes free shipping each way. If you keep all 5 items from your box, you’ll receive a 20% discount.

Everything is neatly packed in the box.

It included an invoice showing the price of each item plus my potential discount.

This month, my stylist, Brett, received a little help from another stylist, Lilly.  Lilly explained their choices and offered some styling tips for me.  The front of the card had a great quote, “If you obey all of the rules, you miss all of the fun.”  Just don’t get arrested, please.

Side note:  My sister and I had quite a laugh at the stylists working with me.  Nothing mean, I promise – Brett is my sister’s fiance’s name and Lily is my dog.  So it’s kind of kismet.  I’m hoping that fate is on my side with this box and not playing an April Fool’s joke.

These are the styles that I selected when I signed up.  I made it a point to emphasize that although I work in an office,  I spend a lot of my work day outdoors and live in Florida where it is VERY humid, so I need clothes that are climate friendly and easy care.  For this box, I asked for more warm weather wear.

Everything in my box!

Rafaella Carson Pant – Black ($65.00):  They’re a little long, but I absolutely love these pants!  They are lightweight with a slight boot cut.  Perfect for work or a night out, and so comfortable.  I did find these on sale elsewhere for $44.99, although they

Zenobia Jocelyn Printed Tank Top – Green ($40.00):  The fit on this tank was spot on.  I really love all of the colors on this tank, individually.  However, in this pattern it was too busy for me.  And I wasn’t a fan of the stretched look across my bust.  To be honest, I could find a similar tank/sleeveless top for much less.  I’ll give this an A for effort.

BB Dakota Long Sleeve Textured Chiffon Top – Black ($65.00):  This would make a good transitional sweater, more so for fall to winter here in Florida.  The back is completely sheer, which I was not expecting!  I’d have to wear a cami underneath this to feel comfortable, which kind of defeats the design.  Plus, I am not really comfortable with showing my back (you can see the sides of my spare tire from behind).  This is also noted in my style profile, so I’m confused on why this was picked.  And it was also a size too big for me.

Sachi Pendant Necklace – 18K Gold Plated/Cubic Zirconia ($38.00):  I prefer yellow gold, and the simple but elegant pendant on this necklace was just my style.  So pretty!

Taylor Ponte Knit Patterned Fit and Flare Dress – Black and White ($128.00):  I liked the play of black/white and style of this dress.  The pockets gave it bonus points.  The fit was a little off around my arms and waist.  The problem is that I think going down a size would be too tight in the chest.  The horizontal stripes also made me look wider than I am.  This was VERY heavy and would be better suited for winter with a pair of tights and my Mary Janes.

Dia & Co.  is getting better at choosing things that I like.  I was somewhat disappointed that I asked for warm weather pieces and got items that were more appropriate for the fall/winter.  Maybe they thought I meant I wanted to dress warmer?!?  I’m hoping that my feedback is helping to tailor their selections more.  Next month, I’ve asked (again) for items suited to the summer season.  Keeping my fingers crossed that the 3rd time is a charm.  I’d love to hear about your experiences with this subscription, so please leave a comment below.
