This box is great and there is special care for the contents.  Comic books are wrapped in plastic and/or bagged and boarded.  There are more toys than before as the box has increased in size.  The t-shirt was packed in the box well and kept everything from moving around.  Here is a look at all of the items from inside the April Comic Block!

021Batman print.  An old school look of the Caped Crusader in a very cool painted look.

Super T-Shirt.  A Superman shirt with a play on the Batman logo.

DC Comics Essentials – Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: Book One – $1.00.  While it’s nice to give the folks purchasing the Comic Block Box a blast from the past, I was a little disappointed.  This is a box I look forward to each month because of the comic books it would come with.  This month is one dollar reprints with advertisements on what books to buy from DC Comics.  The cover pictured titled “DC Comics Essential Graphic Novels” is the back of each of the books that were received.

028

DC Comics Essentials: Batman and Robin: Born to Kill – Chapter One – $1.00.  Another book from DC’s past.  This is another reprint however with the advertisements mentioned in the previous comment.  These were the only two books that Comic Block included.  This was severely disappointing as each time I’ve received this box, I’ve received at least three first edition comic books.

023

Batman V Superman Decal.  This is a cool looking glow in the dark sticker featuring two of the most popular names in comic book history.

034 038

Funko POP! Superman Flying Figure ($10.50)  The Man of Steel is on a clear pedestal to make it look like he’s flying at you.

039 042

Funko Dorbz Wolverine Figure ($8.90)  This was a fun surprise.  The most popular creation of comic book writer Len Wein looks great in this classic yellow and blue with the red X-Men belt.

049 052

Harley Quinn Whoopee Cushion and Mr. Freeze Bugs in Ice Cubes Gags.  Who doesn’t love a good practical joke?  These gags were a nice addition to the box.

Comic Block has indeed gotten bigger and there are more items but I’m still disappointed about the lack of newer comic books.  I’m really excited for the other items in the box as I enjoy new t-shirts and getting Superman and Wolverine figures was pretty awesome.
