The Charmed Root April 2016 Box Review

The Charmed Root is a monthly subscription box that is sent to help your celebrate your village and charm your soul.  The box that it came in is gorgeous and I love the tree and the roots. Beautiful.

I love opening a box and seeing everything wrapped up nice and neat.

First look at my goodies and I was excited. I’m very much a fall color type person and when I opened the box it was really happy mail for me.

Everything in this month’s box.

Ceramic trinket dish by Blue Sky Pottery (~$20) This is really cute and I have it in my craft room already with some washi tape already sitting in it. It’s a beautiful piece of handmade pottery.

Tea Towel by Monkey Mind Design ($12) I’m obsessed with this tea towel.  I love the pattern and the color and really pretty much everything about it. Each towel is hand-sewn by the designer’s mom (!) and then carefully screenprinted onto the oatmeal colored cotton fabric.

Custom designed Recipe Cards by Cari Marie ($11?) The Charmed Root had no way of knowing but I actually gave out dip mixes with recipe cards for Christmas last year and I have some of my go tos that people are always asking for. I’m going to go ahead and write a couple up to take with me when I take the dishes with me next time.  These cards are thick and sturdy and I love all the space to write on the back.

Produce Bags from Flip & Tumble ($12.00) While these aren’t the most exciting item in the box they are very useful. I’ve been trying to eat healthier and that includes more vegetables and with me actually getting them delivered weekly these will be great to keep them fresh and ready to use.

Magnetic Clothespins by Making the Nest of It ($6.00) – So pretty and fun.  I’m slowly getting rid of all the kid magnets on my fridge and these will make a great new addition.

If you couldn’t tell I loved this box. The items are from small business owners which makes them feel more exclusive and unique, plus there was about $61 in value in the box. There are so many small businesses out there and I love finding new ones and being able to order fun gifts for myself and others.  This box was really great for me and was perfect for my taste. I can’t wait to get another one and see if it is very me too.
