April 2016 Orange Glad Subscription Box Review + Coupon

Orange Glad is an gourmet dessert subscription box featuring items from independent bakeries from all across the country. They gather all the desserts and ship them right to you to enjoy. It’s an incredible way to get a sampling of items from gourmet bakers all across the nation.  

The information card provides details on each treat plus ingredient and allergen information, and the best by date.

I see a giant marshmallow rice treat! It is huge. The family is eager to see what delightful treats are in the box.

The April box is beckoning us with tempting treats. Where to begin?

I wasn’t convinced that the waffle would taste delicious when I saw the Le Waf by Euro Snack. I am not big on waffles. I decided to follow the suggestion of warming it up for 15 seconds and added organic Vermont Maple Syrup. It was a symphony of light sweetness to my tastebuds. I would not hesitate in eating a second waffle.

The Chocolate Caramel with Pink Himalayan Salt melts in your mouth. The amount of salt is perfect. Just a hint to satisfy the taste buds. The company is part of the “Farm to Candy” movement and uses Hudson Valley heavy cream and Kriemhild Meadow Butter which gives it a robust fresh taste.

The dark chocolate caramel has a rich buttery taste. I may have finished the last one while writing the review.

Look what is back! The Chocolate Sprinkles Crispycake by The Crispery is back. I have never seen such a huge Cripsycake in my life. It weighs in at 6 ounces.

The Crispycakes are handmade and handcut in small batches. The family has been eating small pieces the past couple of nights.  It has the perfect amount of sweetness, crunchiness, and gooeyness for everyone to enjoy.

My husband ate the entire Original Chocolate Chip Soft Bake Biscotti by Marlo’s Bake Shop while we discussed how a soft baked bakery product could be a biscotti. He said that it reminded him of a hard chocolate chip cookie. The cookie has a mouth watering blend of walnuts, cinnamon, sugar, dark chocolate-covered raisins, and Guittard dark chocolate chips.

J, age 7, volunteered to be the taste taster for the Citrus Mix Fruit Rock Candy by Raley’s Confectionary. His favorite candy was the greens that tasted sour. The flavors represented are lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit. The family owned company makes beautiful artisan candy.

The April Orange Glad Box was a delightful mix of sweets, cookies, and candies.  The serving amounts made it easy to share with the family. I did eat the waffle in secrecy! It’s fun trying out treats that would otherwise be unknown to us. Everything tasted fresh and delicious!
