The April theme is Miniature! J, my 7-year-old, assisted me in unboxing the April 1Up Box. He was enthused to help me because he sees it as his gaming box!
J is already excited to see a baby Luigi from Mario Brothers. Luigi is Mario’s brother.
Everything is adorable. J is beyond excited because he recognizes everything. It’s a great box for younger fans.
J loved the button. Ant Man is racing a spider!
The Baby Luigi Plush ($11.00) will be watching J play Super Mario Brothers. The babies are seen throughout the Super Mario Franchise. Subscribers will receive 1 of 3 Baby Mario Plushies – Mario, Luigi, or Peach.
J loved the Ant-Man Drawstring Bag. J found it to be hilarious that Ant-Man is being chased by a cat because we have multiple cats. He plans to use it for when he is in the car.
The Minion Decal is perfect for J who loves to put stickers on walls and windows. He’s so cute!
The Yoshi Coaster is an abstract design. Yoshi is introduced in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. He takes care of a baby Mario! J is happy to have his own special coaster.
How can you feel stressful when squeezing the Kirby Squishy Stress Ball? It’s perfect for J who needs to fidget with his fingers and hands. We think it is based off the game Kirby: Mass Attack when he breaks into 10 baby Kirbys. Or it could be because he can break into a ball.
I find the “Shortcake Party” t-shirt to be brilliant. J loves the shirt. He enjoys having his own shirts and wants to be like big brother. From left to right – Ant-Man, Luigi, Minion, Peach, and in the center is Mario.
J is ecstatic over his April 1 Up Box. He says it is cool! He has plans for everything in the April 1Up Box. The items are from well-recognized fandoms that are family-friendly. The items selected are clever and perfect for the theme. It is an another amazing month!
