Tippy Taste is a jewelry subscription box for people who love chic jewelry. Beginning in March, Tippy Taste is upgrading their jewelry, so pricing is changing for new subscribers. Choose 2 pieces per month for $32 or 3 pieces for $36. Current subscribers will remain on their existing price plan.

P.S: Please note that it’s not guaranteed you will receive your chosen pieces, however we will always try out best to make your wishes come true.
Before I show you what I got, here’s a look at the entire collection. The choices are sent via email.
1) Bulletproof Bracelet
Heavy metal meets modern fashion in this edgy statement bracelet.
2) Genie in a bottle studs
When we came across this we know we had to include it this month. Playful druzy studs filled with beads in a glass bottle.
3) Daisy Drops
A light opal blue adds a soft touch to this special month. Perfect for daily wear. Drop is 1.5″ in length.
4) One & Only Necklace
Two antiqued bar with a statement chain is a low-key modern touch. Looks great with a V-neck tee.
5) Dinner Service Necklace
Chic vintage inspo in the form of petal baubles and pearl bezels. A soft vibe for a romantic dinner.
6) Rosie Studs
A pretty rose with crystals adds a feminine yet rocker girl touch to everything.
My first look in. The actual product is packed in another box – extra protection for shipping. There is a card detailing how to let the Tippy Taste curators know what pieces you’d like to see in the Tippy Taste store and another copy of the newsletter.
Here’s my actual first look into the box. Everything was packed individually and nestled in squigglies. There was also a personalized note wishing me Happy Valentine’s Day.
My two pieces – while rocker chic, also very classic. I apologize for the bad picture.
Dinner Service Necklace: Pearls are always a classic finish to a look, but the grey marquise stones add a little edge to the necklace. I like the thinner chain with this because it lets the details on the necklace take center stage.
Bulletproof Bracelet: I don’t know if this will stop bullets (a la Wonder Woman), but I like it. I still haven’t mastered the art of layering jewelry, and this piece is great because it gives me that look without the effort. Plus, the simplicity of the design makes it easy to wear with a variety of looks. Note: This arrived broken, but Tippy Taste was able to replace it for me quickly. It is a little delicate, and bending the wrong way may cause it to break.
Unfortunately, I did not get pricing on these pieces, and they are not yet in the Tippy Taste shop. Compared to similar pieces I own, the value of the pieces outweighs the cost of the subscription (this is based on the original subscription cost). I like the variety of items that were presented in the collection and had a hard time narrowing my selection to the two pieces that I received. I can’t wait to see what the upgraded collections will bring starting next month. And you don’t have to – here’s a sneak peek into the March collection!

At the risk of this just being a ridiculous question I still have to go there….. How do you wear the genie in a bottle studs ? I’m just not getting it. I love them already but I don’t think I even know how to pull them off. Thanks 🙂
Tricia,
It’s hard to see in the picture, but the crescents are the post part of the earring, and the bottle is the backing – so your ears are decorated front and back. I like wearing these with a ponytail or up-do so that you get the full effect, but really it’s all a matter of preference. Hope that helps. 🙂
