Slobberbox is an amazing holistic-based pet box for your dogs! SlobberBox offers two types of boxes – the Pooch Pack and The Healer.  You can customize the box further by dog size and allergies. The Pooch Pack includes 5-6 items. The items include nutritious treats that are handmade by a Certified Holistic Chef for Animals, holistic chews made in the USA and a fun toy. The Healer Pack includes everything listed in the Pooch Pack plus a special chemical-free healing item.

The Healer Box
The Healer Box

This review is for the Healer Box. All three doggies are listed on the box! Bella is a Rat Terrier. Daisy is an English Shepherd, and Odie is half Labrador Retriever and Half Border Collie aka Borador.

The first look is great! I was in the local pet store the other day looking at Salmon Oil for Daisy.

The March 2016 SlobberBox Healer Edition
The March 2016 SlobberBox Healer Edition

I saw this box and immediately thought, “This box understands me and my pet needs.” The items in the box are the type of things I prefer to give to our dogs. They work hard, play hard, and are our babies.

Bull Horn
Bull Horn

The Bull Horn ($7.00?) is from free-range, grass-fed cattle. The doggies have been enjoying the horn in the backyard.  It’s a natural way to help keep the plaque and tartar off their teeth! Bella and Odie have great teeth. I have to be vigilant with Daisy’s teeth and hope that this will help her teeth!

Kale Pumpkin Treats
Kale Pumpkin Treats

The curators also own Companion Cuisine, which makes the treats in the box. Heather is a Certified Holistic Chef for Animals. Yes,it is a real thing! She uses her culinary skills to make delicious human-grade treats for cats and dogs. She also caters doggy birthday parties. I got sidetracked looking at all the adorable party pictures. Put your treats in the fridge for a few weeks or in the freezer for a few months to keep them fresh. There are no preservatives in the treats!

The Companion Cuisine Grain Free Dog Treats – Kale Pumpkin Cookies ($6.50) are made with garbanzo flour, pumpkin, kale, sunflower and/or vegetable oil, egg, and love. I’m convinced that any product with love as an ingredient is an excellent product!  The label on the package encouraged us to try one, so I volunteered my husband. He could taste the kale and thought they tasted better than other dog biscuits that I had him try. Will the doggies like them? Scroll down and look at the photos!

Grain Fee Dog and Cat Treats Salmon Sticks
Grain Fee Dog and Cat Treats Salmon Sticks

The Companion Cuisine Grain-Free Dog and Cat Treats – Salmon Sticks ($7.50?) were a huge hit with the dogs and cats. They had a hard time waiting for the treats. The single ingredient treat is dehydrated salmon. The crunchy stick helps with their skin and dental health. Both the cats and dogs loved them! Bramble, the gray striped cat, tried to carry the package off the table.

Spunkeez Rope with Nubby
Spunkeez Rope with Nubby Bone

The Spunkeez Rope Toy with Nubby Bone ($8.99) is a brightly colored rope toy with a bone on it. Odie loved this toy. He used it to play tug and war with the other dogs and us. He also enjoyed chewing on the bone.

The above items are in the Pooch Pack and the Healer Box. Now onto the chemical-free healing item in the Healer Box!

Only Natural Pet Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil
Only Natural Pet Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil

Slobberbox read my mind! Daisy is experiencing a small coat issue that may be related to a chicken allergy. I was looking at Salmon Oil to help improve her coat. The Only Natural Pet Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil ($13.17) can be used for cats and dogs. The fatty acids hep with skin and coat issue including those caused by allergies. The salmon is sustainable harvest and is triple filtered for purity. Your first box will contain the Only Natural Pet Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil.

Now for the pet photos!

Salmon Sticks

She selected the Salmon Sticks as her first treat. She found them to be delicious.

Bramble
Bramble

Bramble loved them too. The Salmon Sticks live up to the claim of being a treat for cats and dogs.

Bella

Bella is checking over the treats and toy. She loved the treats and was more interested in finding where I hid the treats than playing with the toy. She does play with toys often.

Daisy loved the Kale Pumpkin Cookies. She ate them in a ladylike manner,

Odie decided to play with the toy after trying the treats. I noticed he spent time chewing on the bone. The nubs must feel good against his gums.  He and Bella play tug of war with the toy.

The SlobberBox is amazing! I found the value of the Healer Box to be around $43.00 which is an excellent value for a holistic, healthy, natural dog box.  The box is customized by dog size and allergies. I absolutely love that the box can be customized for allergies because I feel sorry for Daisy when she can’t have a treat! The treats are exactly the kind of treats that I look for in my local pet shop that specializes in natural, healthy products. The salmon oil is right on target for what I need for Daisy’s coat. The dogs enjoyed the toy. The passion that Heather and Brian have in their endeavor to make holistic and healthy items readily available shines through in the box.
