We took a step back in March to better understand what our past, current, and future customers wanted from the only all year round pumpkin box.
You said you wanted more value, more affordable options, and an earlier peak at each month’s theme. Many of you want the option to buy the box after its contents are revealed.
We heard you loud and clear. So here’s what’s new at The Pumpkin Batch.
The new monthly subscription price is $24.99, and while free shipping is no longer available for subscriptions, we will still ship each box Priority Mail at a discounted rate based on your delivery location.
The new quarterly price is $69.99 with a flat shipping charge per month billed in total with your quarterly payment. Not only will quarterly subscribers save on the monthly box price, but will also get a deeper discount on shipping.
The Single Gift Batch is also lower in price at $29.99 with a modest shipping charge based on the delivery location.
We will offer more sales in The Pumpkin Shop each month and feature each month’s box for sale earlier so non-subscribers can also get in on the pumpkin action.
These changes will take effect at The Pumpkin Batch on March 19, 2016. Existing subscribers who pay with a Credit Card have to do nothing; the change will take effect on your next renewal. Existing subscribers using PayPal to pay for their monthly subscription should read more here about how the change impacts you. Log into your My Account page to see more details. *cough* I don’t think we are that gullible. It’s not a lower price if it costs more to subscribe. Which apparently is the opposite of what customers have been asking for according to the email. I mean, I love The Pumpkin Batch but come on… Don’t insult our intelligence. >.<
I’m sorry how is this a lower price??? You just pay for shipping now instead of it being included? And it’s flat rate shipping, so it’s $5.50, technically $30.49, $0.50 higher than it was. Unless you always paid for shipping, I don’t know.
