The Popsugar Must Have Editors come up with inspirations every month which guide the box curation. The March box is inspired by the themes: Feminine, Illuminating, Refreshing, and Vibrant.

review (1)

Here are the goodies this month from POPSUGAR Must Have.

Special Extra: LOLA First Box Free Coupon ($10) read our review of LOLA if you’re curious (and if you missed out on this box you can get your first 2 boxes for $9). The tampons are 100% cotton with no synthetics.

Nanette Nanette Lepore Classic Rose Gold Watch ($55) I love rose gold so this is a great accent to go along with a lot of my every day jewelry! The wristband is a great neutral color and nice and soft.

This watch is designed exclusively for POPSUGAR Must Have and the full collection is launching at Bloomie’s this spring. I don’t wear a watch (if I could bear to have something on my wrist all day getting in the way of typing, it would probably be an Apple watch), but it will make a nice gift.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2016 (4)

Miss Ivy Pearl Five-Tassel Necklace ($38) I feel that this looks better in person but definitely has a specific resort vibe that can veer into couch cushion/throw pillow territory if it isn’t worn properly/paired with the right pieces. I still don’t know what Miss Ivy Pearl is. It seems to me that it’s one of the fake brands they use when they want to put something cheap in the box (like the handwarmers). My house is currently painted all these shades of seafoam green so I honestly kind of can’t stand it right now.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2016 (5)

Hello Extra Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste ($4.49) I love getting toothpaste in subscriptions because I actually use it all up, and this is a really awesome brand, but this feels underwhelming in the box to me (like it should have been a sponsored item).  It was, however, my personal favorite item! Hello uses no peroxide, no dyes or artificial sweeteners, and no preservatives in its toothpaste, which is xylitol based.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2016 (6)

Pixi by Petra Book of Beauty Minimal Makeup ($24) This is an awesome desk palette and perfect for doing your entire face without relying on 50 different containers. It’s going into my office, for sure. There are two highlighters, two cheek colors, and four eyeshadows to create a barely there look, which is also super work-appropriate by itself. I personally associate Pixi in my mind with Ipsy, so I looked them up. They’re a UK brand focused on convenient makeup to help make you up like yourself, just a little bit brighter.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2016 (7)
Goodie Girl Cookies in Toffee Chaos ($5) These are very toffee-ied and crispy. They’re also gluten-free and like most Goodie Girl cookies you can’t really tell (although this variety tastes more like something is kinda off about it than the others). Not my favorite, but my husband will love the taste.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2016 (8)

Govino Go Anywhere Carafe and Water Glass Set ($14.95) I’m not big on Govino (we have a clumsy house with lots of small children) but my gramps loves it. How else is he supposed to grill and chill with his cabernet? This set is BPA free, reusable, recyclable, but unbreakable!

I think this is a love or hate box! If you love the watch, then this box was awesome. If you didn’t like it or don’t wear one, you might feel a little more like me – not wowed (at least on a personal level – it’s a good item for a box and really beautiful). This box felt like 2 big items, a no-name brand, and a bunch of fillers. Don’t get me wrong – each item is high quality and nice on its own, but all together the curation was really off for me this month, but I think I’ve grown to expect not much from PSMH March boxes. There was about $150 in value in this box. I would love for you to share your opinions on this box in the comments!

This box made me sad. The only things I am keeping out of it are the toothpaste, the Lola subscription and the Govino for my kids to play with. They already ate all of the cookies. All of the other items are being gifted.

I LOVED the cookies lol very ashamed to say I ate almost the entire bag in one sitting. They’re so good! I loved the watch; but hated the necklace. I like Pixi products, one of the few that does lol; but I didn’t like the colors on the palette. The toothpaste was eh; but I’ll use it. It’s a useful box.
