March 2016 Glossybox Subscription Box Review & Coupon

Glossybox is one of the original beauty subscriptions. You’ll get 5 luxury samples per month for $21. They have great packaging every month with the outer box (above) around the inner box (below).  Everything fits so well together.

After last month’s really pretty box this month we are back to the normal pink lid. Once I took the top off this is my first look.  This is the second month my ribbon has been all over the place.  I think my boxes really go through the wringer getting to me some months.

Vine Vera Resveratrol Merlot Moisture Day Cream (I’m not sure how much is in these little containers but a full size of 1.83fl oz is $146) – I am taking this up to my bag right now so I can try it.  This cream is made with resveratrol which is a natural compound found in the skins of grapes and red wine which is packed with antioxidants and is known for its anti-aging effects.  While I do want to try this it is not something I will be buying since the price for a full size is so expensive.  I’m really expecting magic with a price-tag like that.

Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush 504 ($16.00)  – This brush is so soft and designed to fit the natural contours of the face and to leave a traceless, smooth finish. Luxie brushes are cruelty free, vegan, paraben free and made in the USA.

I Love….Cosmetics Super Soft Hand Lotion in Raspberry and Blackberry (2.5fl oz. $6.00) – The weather has been in the 70s the last week and expected to be that this week too so I’m truly ready for spring scents. This lotion smells great and includes coconut oil and shea butter to leave your hands really moisturized.  Scents varied in the boxes.

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua ($21.00) – This is a new shade in the melted line and I’m liking it.  It isn’t too over the top and something I can actually pull off.  I’m not a huge lipstick wearer but I do love these liquid types over a normal stick.  The liquid formula gives you the lasting power of a stain, the intense color of a stick and the shine of a gloss all in one.

Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner ($19.00) – I don’t always wear eyeliner but I do love these marker style ones.  This eyeliner features Widelash which helps your eyelashes appear longer, fuller, and stronger in just 15 days of use.  I won’t be trying that out since I don’t wear eyeliner everyday but if you do that is a great added feature.

I would say this is a very useful box while not being overly exciting.  I am excited to try all the products but there is nothing that just gives me the jump up and down excitement of some of the past boxes.
