Five Four Club is a men’s clothing monthly subscription club – sign up, pick a style profile and your sizes, and get clothes every month. T’s style profile is a “mix.” This subscription ships at the end of the month. The subscription is a $60 flat monthly fee, and traditionally subscribers receive a variable number of items each month, depending on the value of the month’s selections (months with several items usually include a tee shirt or other lower value item).
February ends the winter cycle for Five Four Club. Five Four Club states that each season will have three volumes of wardrobe.
Tom received Darkson Raw Denim Jeans and the Willow Red Wine Henley in December.
T received the Five Four Jeremy Black Jacket and the Wyland Hat in the January Box.
T had tossed the tags before I wrote the review. He received a green pullover and a blue plaid button down shirt for February. We received two shirts, a pullover, jeans, a coat, a hat, and socks for the winter season.
The green pullover is a blend of 60% cotton, 40% polyester. The outside feel soft while the inside has an almost terry cloth feel.
T is wearing a medium and decided that he will size down to a small for the next box. He felt it made him look fat. He prefers more of an athletic fit with his clothes.
The medium fitted my husband better than it did T. He liked it and wore it on Sunday.
My husband also liked the 100% cotton blue plaid shirt. It does not have a breast pocket. The collar can be button down.
The shirt was much too large for T. My husband agreed to model it for me. He has already worn it this weekend. It looks a little tight in the front. I think it is because he tucked it in tightly.
Here’s T modeling both items. We have redone the style survey. His next box should be the casual look – size small.
T is excited to receive socks. They go well with his wardrobe. He has a bad habit of not wearing his athletic socks during track practice which ruins his regular socks.
He likes the pattern and the color. He will wear them to his internship activities.
T wishes he listened to mom and switched sizes after the January box! My husband is happy with the shirt and the pullover, so it ended up working out for us. FiveFourClub does allow exchanges for size which would have been my next step if my husband wasn’t interested. He’s looking forward to starting the spring cycle with the next box!
My husband liked the clothes and was surprised to find out they were from a subscription box. He would have been happy to keep all the items! He liked both pieces and had already worn them over the weekend! T’s happy with the quality.
While supplies last, you can get a free pair of Robert Geller designed sunglasses ($90 value) with your first month. Use code GELLER.
