beautyfix march 2016 box

BeautyFIX is a monthly beauty subscription box from DermStore. This subscription has changed quite a bit – in 2015 it changed its name from Blush Mystery Beauty Box, and now features more sample size than full-size items (but is still an amazing deal – it’s only $24.95!).

The information card has details on each item, along with pictures, and you often get a freebie sample in your box.

Everything in the March box! FYI, you can purchase this box through the end of the month and sometimes even a little longer.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical ($2.13) Well this is pretty much my favorite ever – fixes my hair up right with an AMAZING beachy smell. I’m buying the full size – I’m already addicted!

Nick Chavez Advanced Plump ‘N Thick Thickening Conditioner ($5.50) This is perfect for me perfectly, because I have fine/thin hair. A lot of the BeautyFIX items are geared to maturing women, so I’m always super pumped with everything in this box!

Glytone Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 40 (96¢) A sunscreen with a combo of chemical sunscreen and micronized zinc oxide. The chemical sunscreens tend to irritate my face, so this will be great for my neck area.

Paula’s Choice RESIST Vitamin C Spot Treatment ($18.7) Concentrated with 25% Vitamin C for attacking age spots. Perfect for upcoming sunny days and helping to reduce those spots. Vitamin C really works, so this is a great product to test to see if it works for you!beautyfix march 2016 IMG_7015

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Thing with EVERMAT (?) Since I posted the spoilers this product has been removed from just about everywhere online. It’s available for $40.50 here but it’s clearly a closeout/discontinued product. It’s a full size product and has middling reviews on Amazon for its promises to clear pores, reduce excess oil, and snapping pore walls back into shape.beautyfix march 2016 IMG_7016

It’s pretty crazy looking but this might be a good product to use after cleansing for oily/combo skin – it has tea tree and lime peel extracts!beautyfix march 2016 IMG_7017

DermStore Lip Quench Sheer Tints in Coral Sunset ($12) I totally LOVE this product! I wasn’t sure about the color from the spoilers but this is a super pretty and hydrating lip tint. Totally a win for me!

Super sheer!

Radical Skincare Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum ($51.3) WHOAH this stuff is pricey! It is a beautiful little sample with an airless pump, which I’m super glad they included so I can get out every drop. This serum promises to firm, tone, and even skin in 4 weeks. It’s also slightly tinted! I will be testing this one out thorughly!beautyfix march 2016 IMG_7019

DermStore Small Travel Bag ($2.50) Last but not least, this cute travel bag! It’s not super high quality, but the price is relatively cheap – I like it and it’s super useful!

This was one of my favorite BeautyFIX boxes ever! I thought the seasonal change in the products was perfect and it got me dreaming about sunny days ahead. The value was also fantastic – $93 not including the Dr. Brandt product (about $133 total).

I’ve been subbing for a few months, and so far, I’m really loving it.

There is usually one item each month that I absolutely will not use (the lip tint was not a flattering color for me personally), however the two or three items that I. Freaking. Love. more than makes up for it.

And I’m the same with the baby fine hair, so all the hair stuff typically included is great. As long as it’s sulfate free and not a dreaded foil packet, I’m all in.
