pooch party packs february 2016 box

Pooch Party Packs is a monthly subscription box for dogs that sends 4-6 items for your pooch including treats, toys, and grooming supplies. They feature high quality canine products including those produced by small businesses! My daughter wrote our dog’s name on the box. She loved this.

Pooch Party Packs are customized for your dog’s size.  Small is 10-20 pounds, medium is 20-50 pounds, and large is 50+ pounds. Lindy is a 14 pound miniature schnauzer so this is a small dog box.

I totally squealed when I opened this! It made me super duper happy!pooch party packs february 2016 IMG_5542

The info card gives the details on the items and their makers. I also learned that you can make special requests for allergies or for heavy chewers!

Everything in the February box!

K9 Granola Factory Holiday Bones and Holiday Peppermint Bones ($3.99 each)  I loved that the bags and the treats were decorated! These bones are small size (and tiny size)  making them perfect for regular treats for my small dog, or training treats for a larger dog.

Flashlight Waste Bag Dispenser (~$5) I thought this was totally genius and had never seen it before – it’s a flashlight that doubles as a poo-bag holder plus it has a clip!

It came with a roll of bags too!pooch party packs february 2016 IMG_5551

The end twists to turn on the flashlight. pooch party packs february 2016 IMG_5552

K9 Granola Company Iced Granola Pop ($5?) OMG is this not the cutest dog treat you have ever seen?! It’s a soft baked granola on a stick! I haven’t heard of this brand before and they make all sorts of treats – I hope they come in another PPP box!

Pawsitively Gourmet Iced Heart Cookie ($26 when you buy $20 – maybe $3 retail?) Made with real sweet potato and decorated with yogurt and carob to look like a conversation heart! Sweet potato is Lindy’s favorite. She hasn’t eaten this one yet – we’re stretching these treats out so they don’t stretch her waistline!

ZippyPaws Love Themed Toys ($8 each) The info card said every box would come with a love toy and we got two! They both squeak and the monkey has crinkle limbs as well. I love the Bears heart cheeks and so does our baby. Lindy and I had a wrestling match with monkey this morning. Both were hits!pooch party packs february 2016 IMG_5555

I absolutely LOVED this box (and my husband’s heart melted too!). We thought it was completely fantastic and the theming and curation was really top notch. I was totally thrilled with it. I cannot recall where but a reader noted how happy they were with the adorable Pooch Party Packs boxes and I could not agree more! As with 95% of dog subscription boxes the monthly cost goes down quite a bit with a longer term subscription (save $5 per month with a 6 month plan). The approximate retail value of this box was $37 – right on par with what I expect for a dog subscription.
