The information booklet contains a brief description of each item and its ingredients.  There is also a color-coded legend identifying which items are gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, organic, and dairy-free.  This is a nice, quick way to identify foods for those with special dietary needs.

Power Up Trail Mix by Gourmet Nut:  One of my goals this year (as it is every year) is to be healthier.  Part of that includes better snacks, and this definitely fits the bill.  I can eat each of the components of this trail mix by the handful, so to have them together is even better.  These are coming to work with me to satisfy my 3 o’ clock cravings.

Boardwalk Kettle Corn Popped Corn Chips by popchips:  I’m a fan of popchips and of kettle corn, so this should be a happy marriage.  I can’t wait to dig into these salty-sweet chips!

Milk Chocolate Truffles with Milk Chocolate Creme Filling by Baron Chocolatier

Sea Salt Caramels by Liddabit Sweets

I almost forgot to take pictures of these after I unwrapped them.  The truffle is not overly sweet and melts in your mouth.  The caramels were very chewy and had flakes of sea salt in the middle, which provided a crunchy element and balanced the sweetness.

Googly Grape Organic Lollipops by YumEarth:  These are gluten-free organic lollipops bursting with grape flavor.  Something about eating a lollipop that makes you feel like a kid again.

All Natural Montmorency Cherries by Stoneridge Orchards:  So happy to see these in my box!  There’s a slight chewy texture and tartness to these.  I love these as is or mixed into a salad.  

Stellar Strawberry Non-Dairy Fruit & Veggie Blend by Ruby Rockets:  This reminded me of a warm smoothie, but not in a good way.  I shared it with my dad, who said he’d rather drink this than have a cup of yogurt.  So a draw as far as opinions are concerned.  We both agreed that it would have been better cold (even though no refrigeration is needed).

Choco Liege Wafel by Belgian Boys:  Definitely the favorite item in the box for both my dad and me.  It’s a thick waffle covered in caramelized sugar, AND THEN covered in chocolate.  Have a glass of milk handy if you decide to eat this straight out of the package.
