Cocotique February 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon

The information card has a brief description of each item as well as costs for full size products.  The Straight From Eden line is infused with natural coconut, avacado, and olive oils to condition and moisturize your hair.  Cocotique gave subscribers a haircare lineup with shampoo, conditioner, treatments, and styling products.  To view the entire line of products, click here.

Straight From Eden Natural Oil-Infused Hydrating Shampoo ($10.99):  This was a rich shampoo.  Since it is infused with coconut and fruit oils, I was expecting a very sweet scent, but this was actually mildly scented with a hint of citrus in the background.  The shampoo is formulated without sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, or petrolatum.  Taking this into consideration, I was surprised by the amount of lather this created.  My hair felt smoother after washing.

Straight From Eden Natural Oil-Infused Hydrating Conditioner ($10.99):  This conditioner shares the same lovely scent as the shampoo.  When it came out of the bottle, it had a thinner consistency than my regular conditioner.  However, when worked into my hair, it emulsified into a thick cream.  The directions say to leave on for 10-15 minutes.  To do this, I left this on while I washed up in the shower.  This rinsed out easily and didn’t weigh down my hair.

Straight from Eden Natural Oil-Infused Leave-In Conditioner ($10.99):  This is a two-phase nourishing and protective formula created to condition while shielding hair from damage.  True to its promise, this easily detangled my hair.  I sprayed this on and air dried my hair.  My hair is shiny, soft, and bouncy, plus it smells great.  This will not hold or define your curls – it is absorbed by the hair to strengthen from within.  

Straight from Eden Natural Oil-Infused Repairing Oil ($10.99):  Use this to control frizz and add shine to your hair.  This can be used weekly as a hot oil treatment, as a heat styling protectant, and instant shine booster.

BeFine Deluxe Samples ($2.00 each):  I received the Gentle Cleanser and Night Cream samples.  BeFine products are free of fragrance, parabens, and preservatives.  The line is vegan and never tests on animals.

A digital subscription to Hype Hair magazine is included with your Cocotique subscription.  The January/February edition features the beautiful and talented Janelle Monae, and there’s an interview with actress Meagan Good.  Also in this edition are hair makeovers featuring Creme of Nature’s Straight From Eden line!
