barkbox february 2016 small dog box

The February Barkbox was the cutest dog box!! Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and are customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. We get the small dog Barkbox for Lindy, our miniature schnauzer.

Custom paper always surrounds the items. The February theme was Happy Lunar New Year!

The information card formerly gave brief details and values on each item, plus reorder codes. It now shows only a featured product.  You have to get all the information off the app.

We also got a guide to the year of your dog’s birth. Lindy was born in the year of the Dog!

Everything in this month’s box! SO cute!

Plato Pet Treats – Small Bites with Roasted Duck ($6)  Lindy is picky about her treats and she loves these! They’re soft, she can demand more than one, and they are obviously tasty (and don’t upset her tummy). No corn, wheat, soy, or by products meal.

Etta Says Crunchy Duck Chews ($4)  Barkbox nearly always sends a gross dog treat (trachea, ear) or an Etta Says chew. This month was the chew and Lindy couldn’t be happier. This is like the dog equivalent of zoning out with a pint of ice cream.

We got a cute dragon toy and an adorable Chinese Takeout toy!

Mini Stretchy the Serpentine ($14)  This dragon is tough! He has a squeak inside but a nubbly exterior. Lindy enjoyed killing him repeatedly!

Andi’s Famous Plush Dumplings ($16)  These are so much fun and the baby has already had a blast putting them in the Chinese takeout container, taking them out, and giving them to Lindy to squeak! Their little faces. I die.

Chow Chow Mein Treats ($9) Yum-o! Grain free pumpkin dog cookies! Our dog is a pumpkin fan and these are right up her alley.

Although I love a good Valentine theme I think the Lunar new year theme was wicked awesome – a really fun idea executed perfectly! A great mix of high quality toys and treats!! According to the app there were $49 of items in the box this month. The total pricing is a bit inflated, but when I get the box for $19 a month on the annual plan, I really don’t care all that much! I think this was my favorite Barkbox and I might grab another set of those dumplings to put on my shelf because they are SO ridiculously cute!
