Retro Pop Box January 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon – 80s Box

Retro Pop Box – 80’s.  I was really excited for this subscription box as my most memorable pieces of childhood took place in the 80’s.

Retro Pop Box is a monthly subscription box designed to bring you back to your youth by delivery nostalgic items from pop culture of bygone eras.   You can select the 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s as your era.

From the initial opening, I knew I was in for a treat.

So much of what I love from the 80’s all in one compact box.

“I Predict Pain” Rocky III t-shirt.  Stallone vs Mr. T.  Rocky Balboa vs Clubber Lang.  This movie had serious star power to go with the hard hitting action.

DC Comics Heroes magnets.  A classic closeup look at Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash.

Battlestar Galactica Cylon Coaster Set.  You won’t dare leave a ring on your coffee table with that drink of yours if you know what’s good for ya!

Love Boat mini lunchbox.  Okay, I didn’t watch much of the Love Boat but growing up we could all sing the them song.  You probably did just by looking at this little guy didn’t you?

David Bowie “Ziggy Stardust” sticker.  If I’m not mistaken, this is more of a 70’s flashback but I’m not complaining.  A very cool looking sticker of the Starman. We think this was probably sourced for the 70s box but included in all the boxes for memorial purposes, which was a nice touch.

Back to Basics sticker.  I played a lot of video games on my Atari 2600.  One joystick and one button.

The Description Card let’s you know what you received in your Retro Pop Box on one side and gives you a fun picture to frame on the other.

Retro Fun Box is brilliant trip down memory lane.  It is an eclectic mix of the decade, yet it all fits together.  It’s a terrific value with items you won’t find at such a great value elsewhere.
