prospurly december 2015 box

The theme for the December 2015 box was “A Seasonal Splendor.” Prospurly is a monthly subscription box featuring 6-8 luxurious small-batch and artisan products in each box, with an average $80 value. Items include gourmet foods and bath & body essentials, plus fun gifts and games to share with friends. Prospurly features organic, handcrafted, and sustainable items.

I still find this card impossible to read.prospurly december 2015 review

Everything in the December box! The squigglies have returned.

Melisa’s Holiday Bundt Cake Soap ($5.75) This is a soap, not a real cake! I’ll have to use the included recipe, because I got a little hungry smelling it.

My kids happened to be taking a bath when I opened the box, and I couldn’t resist taking it right to them. Multiple squeals of delight ensued!

St. Fiacres Farm Organic Loose Peppermint Patty Tea ($18) I don’t drink tea, but my husband and daughter will love it – they both like tea and chocolate mint! This is sweetened with stevia, which is great, because that’s our sweetener of choice!prospurly december 2015 IMG_3425

The Savvy Heart Peppermint Body Resurfacer ($24) This smells great – it’s invigorating and has great oils for smoothing out your skin with the sugar sloughs off the ickies. Great holiday scent!

J Pants Bonsai Tree Kit with Germination Greenhouse ($5) Dwarf Mugo Pine seeds and directions were included.

J Pants “Bagazine” ($4) In my bagazine I received mimosa pudica sensitive plant seeds (after you grow them their second leaves will move when you touch them) but no stickers as promised on the card. A card with a saying was the promised “other goodies,” I guess. I think they oversold the bagazine concept.

Aimee’s Home Cookin’ Mulling Spices ($10) This might be my favorite item in the box – I love mulled wine and cider! The mix is gorgeous and perfect for entertaining. It includes cinnamon sticks, green cardamom pods, allspice berries, star anise, orange peel, lemon peel, and cloves.

St. Fiacres Farm Winter Balm ($6) A nice balm perfect for winter – frankincense and cinnamon are known for their anti-bacterial, disinfectant, and anti-inflammatory qualities!

The December Prospurly was a great box! I love their commitment to sourcing quality artisan goods, and they really pack in the value for a box like this – around $70 in this box!
