A Hero’s Curse by P.S. Broaddus

A Hero’s Curse ($12.73) by P.S. Broaddus is an ambitious book for the age 4-8 crowd. J has always enjoyed the early reader and easy chapter books that came in Kids Prize Pack. I will be reading this book to him. He is curious about the cat.

Mike the Dragon
Mike the Knight

Mike the Knight Mike and Yap ($3.88) continues the fantasy theme. J felt it was a little too young for him. I caught him later playing with them with his Legos. Maybe it wasn’t too young for him after all!

Scuba Spy

J received the Scuba Spy in the Sick Bricks Blind Pack ($4.99). Sick Bricks is hard to explain. It is a hybrid of brick and video games. You can scan your brick into the SickBrick app and start playing it in the game.

He has a lot of work ahead of him to catch up to his big brother. He plays and displays his figures. He loves Toothless!

The Stretch Island Fruit Co All Natural Fruit Strip in Orchard Cherry ($0.34)  is a great snack for a hungry little boy  The snack is gluten-free and non-gmo verified. It’s a wonderful, thoughtful choice. J says it is delicious.

He decided to read it in the recliner wrapped up in the Luxor Box Blanket. It is his favorite item from the January KidsPrizePack.

J liked this month. He prefers having the easy readers and smaller chapter books over a book that I read to him. I am sure he will enjoy the book once we start reading it. He played with Toothless and added him to his growing Pop! figure collection. The items fit the theme well. We look forward to our February box!

This looks like a pretty neat box for a kid; definitely something my daughter would enjoy!

After checking out their website, it looks like the price is $34.99/month not $25/month as listed here.
