This month we invite you to celebrate the bath. So much more than just a perfunctory routine, bathing is one of our most intimate rituals of relaxation and renewal. For many of us who lead busy lives, the shower is the one sure place to which we are able to make a daily retreat, and where we may tend, gently, to the rejuvenation of both body and mind.

I took the lid off my basket and peeked inside. I missed the spoiler for the mini-basket and wasn’t sure what to expect! It looks like a textile.
I am excited. It’s a bath towel! The GlobeIn Benefit Baskets includes one featured item from the full-size Artisan Box along with an information card about the artisan that made your product.
The information card provides information about the Atlas Pestemal Bath Towel including care directions. The back of the card names the country of origin and shows it on a map. My 7 year old and I always check out the location on our world map. We love learning about the products!
GlobeIn Signature Palm Leaf Basket from Oaxaca, Mexico ($12) I love the vibrant color of my basket. I’ve been using my baskets to store soaps, toilet paper, girly products, and a bunch of other things. My boys love them too. My younger son uses a couple of baskets to store his treasures.
The Atlas Organization provides a way to keep the cultural tradition of hand-looming alive while earning a living. Guler Sucu creates the fringes while her husband hand looms the towels. The last sentence of the above card made me stop and think. There are 40 fringes on my bath towel. Each fringe matters.
Atlas Pestemal Bath Towel ($25) The 100% cotton towel is huge! It measures 39 x 67 in (100 x 170 cm). I am bad at visualizing measurements. The next picture is for people like me!
The quick drying towel is folding in half and spread out on my love seat. No worries about washing it warm or cold. Either will work!
My 7-year-old insisted it was a blanket. It feels slightly heavier than other similar towels that I received in subscription boxes. It does provide a little bit of warmth when folded in half. Maybe J is onto something.
