Barkbox

January’s Barkbox has arrived! Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. We selected the large box for our three dogs.  Bella is a Rat Terrier, Odie is a Borador (half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever), and Daisy is an English Shepherd. You can save $10 on your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

I am sensing a 60s theme!

It is a 60s theme! I don’t know how Barkbox continually finds fabulous toys to fit their themes. It must be a fun job!

I still need to download the app. I liked it better when there was a complete information card. The shortened information card showcases the featured item of the month.

January’s theme is Peace, Ruv, and Happiness. It’s a flashback to the time when disco was all the range.

The Etta Says Elk Chew ($3) is made in the USA. The ingredients are simple – rawhide, elk, natural caramel color, and salt. Daisy says more, please!  She’s a good girl and waited to make sure it was OK to eat it on the pet cover. I allowed her to have it there to make it easier for picture-taking.

Ziggy Potato Fries
Ziggy Disco Fries

The Ziggy Disco Fries fit the theme well. The made-in-the-USA treats are vegetarian and are for medium and large size dogs. The treats are great for dogs with food allergies. Daisy was unsure about the treats.

Ducky Tenders

The Ducky Tenders by Loving Pets ($8.00) are soy, wheat, and gluten-free. The made-in-the-USA treats are a hit with Daisy. I have to laugh at the directions because it states 1 treat per 15 pounds per day. The four-ounce bag is not going to last long with Daisy.

The Bark & Co Ozzie the Hippie ($13) spooks me. Daisy promptly gave him a bath before introducing him to her other babies. It fits great with the theme. A smaller version of Ozzie was in the January Barkbox Small Dog Review.

The Bark & Co’s Lucy’s Magic Bus – Large ($10) was also the featured toy in the January Barkbox Small Dog Review. The small dog review featured a smaller version of the van. Daisy, our English Shepherd, has a gentle mouth. She considers this to be one of her babies.

Daisy brought both toys over to the recliner. She is happy with them and has them with her babies. She is very gentle on her toys.

Daisy enjoyed her January Barkbox. She loves her toys and Oz the Hippie is her favorite. She couldn’t wait to eat her elk chew and duck tenders. I found the Disco Fries mixed in with her babies. Daisy woofs that the box is groovy! I am going to have Odie, the Borader, review the next Barkbox. He is my heavy chewer and destroyer of toys.

Regarding the small dog box versus the large dog box – The large size box had the same toys in a larger size. The treats were different than the small dog box. Be sure to read Brandy’s review on the January Barkbox Small Dog Box to see the differences.

Marc, yes you can from their online shop. The links take you directly to the item. Unfortunately, the toys came out a year ago and are no longer in stock. You can contact them to see if they will be bringing them back by using this link https://barkshop.com/scouts-honor

Daisy barks her thank you. I’m glad your dogs loved the disco fries. She’s been hiding hers.
