ElleBox is a monthly Canadian period and time of the month subscription box. In every box you’ll receive pads and tampons along with hand curated comfort goods selected with ethics, wellness and community in mind. A portion of the proceeds support locals women’s initiatives in Vancouver.
The box comes with a welcome letter. You can choose monthly necessities only (which includes chocolate and tea!) or upgrade to the Comfort box. Organic options are available too.
I love the box branding design!
When you subscribe you will fill out the box customization form and can select your preferred brands of pads and tampons. They offer Tampax Pearl, Playtex Sport & Gentle Glide, and U by Kotex Tampons, as well as Always/Always Infinity pads and U by Kotex pads in multiple absorbencies. You’ll select a total of 25 feminine products.
Everything that came in my Ellebox.
Ghirardelli Caramel Squares in Milk and Dark Chocolate: These are necessary and super tasty too! I needed them, and ate them within a couple of days!
Pura Vida Natural Products Cinnamon Spice Warm & Spicy Candle Tin ($8) Only soy wax, cinnamon, clove & orange essential oils, and a cotton core wick in this one! It smells great and is invigorating.
Neu Skin Botanicals Whipped Shea Body Butter in Lavender Lemongrass: I loved the texture and the scent of this body butter – I think the whipped texture keeps you warmer in winter. No seriously though the whipped butter lets you get a nice thick coat without getting too much product on so you don’t feel like a dipped mess. Smells delicious.
Capilano Tea – The Sisters: This “moontime” blend was customized exclusively for Ellebox and has lavender, chamomile, rose hip, and raspberry life for nourishing and relaxing. It’s named after the Twin Sister mountains in Vancouver! It’s so pretty!
Queen B Bath & Beauty Products Noël Bath & Beauty Bath Bomb & Bath Creamer ($16.56 CAD) I loved everything about this! It was packaged up in a glittery tulle and contained a HUGE bath bomb that looks like a planet – It’s so big that this shop normally only sells halves!
It has a great minty and refreshing scent and contains cocoa and shea butter to melt up your tub and your skin.
I received a pile of Tampax regular tampons. Ellebox offers Tampax Pearl, Playtex Sport & Gentle Glide, and U by Kotex Tampons.
Ellebox offers Always/Always Infinity pads and U by Kotex pads in ultra-thin regular, with wings, and overnights.
I’m really not sure of the brand, but pantyliners and feminine wipes were included as well! Update: Valerie (a Canadian reader!) says the pantiliners are Always and the wipes are the new Always Radiant line. Thanks!
This box hit all the period box notes with tea, chocolate, soothing and refreshing items, plus of course the monthly necessaries. I love that there’s an option like this for Canadian women!

Yeah I Liv in the u.s. and tampons in packs of 30 & 40 r 10$$
Shark week – ha! I haven’t heard that one but I love it Valerie!
This looks like a really good period box but it’s not available in the U.S., right?
I know Canadians can’t get all the boxes we do in the U.S. – or they have to pay more shipping which bites – but it seems like the Canadian boxes are usually high quality and high value. Oftentimes I would love fewer choices of higher quality. Maybe I’m just being “grass is greener” but that’s my observation.
Our neighbors in Canada deserve some good boxes though! 🙂
LOL, it’s true – blood in the water and all!
Yeah, Ellebox is Canadian, but when I go to checkout on a fake order it gives options for other countries. Honestly, though, given how RIDICULOUS it is to ship from Canada to the US (we’re talking $15 at the MINIMUM unless it’s less than 1″ thick) it’s probably not worth it. Heck, $15 will buy you two huge boxes of tampons anyway!
Brandy, the pantiliners are Always and the wipes are the new Always Radiant line. I use ‘em myself so I’d recognise them anywhere.
YAY thanks!!
I’m so weird, I buy the radiant line of tampons, liners, and wipes just because of how cute the packaging is LMAO. It’s very mod/retro and bright. Not exactly discreet, but I just shove it all in a Couch skinny and toss it in my purse when it’s shark week.
