December 2015 OwlCrate Subscription Box Review & Coupon

December’s OwlCrate theme was Get Inspired! Owl Crate is a monthly subscription books and bookish items box.   Each OwlCrate will contain one new Young Adult novel, as well as 3-5 other bookish items all matched to a magical monthly theme.

The information card has brief information about each item and a few notes about the theme. 

The bottom of the box hoots “enjoy your adventure!”

The book comes packaged in a plastic wrapper to protect it.

We didn’t receive an author’s letter this month, but we did get a word games fridge magnet.

I’m excited to read this one!

What I Read Journal ($6) A cute journal to track the books you read. This is going straight to my daughter, who will really enjoy it (and fill it quickly).

I think this is a nice way to prompt yourself to take stock of what you read.

And when you’re all done, to look back!

It closes with an elastic band, too.

Frostbeard Studio Reading at the Cafe Candle Tin ($4) I’m not a personal fan of the chocolate and coffee scent, but I don’t like the way coffee smells. I think most subscribers would enjoy this.

BoyGirlParty Octopus Reading To Do List Notepad ($8) This is super cute, and lets you check things off easily. I’m not sure about the not yet except I guess to pressure yourself into GTD.

Sandra Vargas Magnet ($3) Oh, I’m a good guesser! This magnet is The Little Prince!

This was a fun box, and I loved the journal and notepad for keeping you on track, and the cute little magnet! I have to say though – I can’t wait for the January box! If you haven’t seen the spoilers, see them here.
