Bluum December 2015 Subscription Box Review & Coupon

Bluum is a baby and kids subscription box full of age-specific developmentally appropriate items for your child (with mom items too).  Bluum now has a box item preference system to help adjust what goes into your boxes – so you can nix diapering items, mom items, etc, or keep those in! It’s up to you. And on top of that you can now customize your box completely!  Cut-off is the 4th of the month at 11:59 PM EST to build your own box! Note that picking your own items is “Pick Products” and selecting the areas you want more for is “customize your box” on your account page. 

We reset the age for our box so we could select items that were more appropriate for our baby (who is quickly becoming a toddler!). So it’s an imaginary child’s 3rd birthday!

There is no specific theme to Bluum boxes, nor is there a real information card – Bluum checks the tracking and when your box is delivered, a list of the items inside your box is emailed to you. I selected my products this month through the Bluum product selection interface.

Handstand Kids Chef’s Hat ($9.95)  I was pretty sure we have this hat already, but I selected it nonetheless so the boys could have matching hats! My baby loves “cooking!”

I picked this one to reinforce reading readiness skills for my middle child. He’s so close! Go ahead dude and start! Loved this high quality book, it’s really fun!

eeBoo Sketchbook ($8) I picked this one because my daughter loves to draw and goes through sketchbooks like mad! When she’s out, she turns to my printer paper. This is a better choice for her.

Ritz Kids Children’s Foot Measure ($13.95) I was thrilled when I saw this in the Bluum product picker! This is exactly what I needed, and honestly, it would only ever come in a Bluum box! Stride Rite online, here I come!

My box wasn’t the highest value this month – about $41, but I liked every item because I selected it myself. I wasn’t super crazy about the items available for January, so I think I’m going for a surprise box next month!
