BarkBox

January’s Barkbox has arrived! I received the Welcome Box because I am a new subscriber.  Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. We selected the large box for our three dogs.  Bella is a Rat Terrier, Odie is a Borador (half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever, and Daisy is an English Shepherd. You can save $10 on your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

Love the little comic
Love the little comic

Everyone in the family thought that the little comic fitted Bella, the Rat Terrier, perfectly. She can be a terrier terror when barking at a delivery person.

Information Card – Welcome Box – Wintery Mix Box

Things have changed since I last subscribed. The information card used to provide details on each item and a reordered code. Now you have to check the app for the information. The featured product of the month is listed on the card.

The Welcome Box looks great for our three dogs. The theme is a Wintry Mix. Daisy, the English Shepherd, will be the dog featured in this review. Our other two dogs are at our farm property with a family member. We saved treats for them!

The Etta Says Savory Pork Yummy Stick ($4) is made in the USA with meat provided by USA farms. Daisy says delicious. She kept sniffing around the box wanting more yummy sticks.

Featured Item - Pixel the Penquin
Featured Item – Pixel the Penguin

The Bark & Co’s Pixel the Penguin ($16) may look familiar to you if you follow the BarkBox reviews. It was the featured toy for the December Large Dog BarkBox. It feels sturdy and has four squeakers.

Daisy the English Shepherd
Daisy the English Shepherd

Daisy, our English Shepherd, has a gentle mouth. She spent a little time with her baby and lost interest. She prefers fluffy babies. Odie, our Border, will love this toy. He is a heavy chewer and needs toys that will last longer than a few minutes. Daisy keeps all her babies hidden from him.

Ducek Recipe Bites
Caru Duck Recipe Bites

The reason for the expectant look on Daisy’s face is that our seven year old is filling the treat ball with Caru Duck Recipe Bites ($9.50 on Amazon). She loves the grain-free treats. The first ingredient is duck, and it’s a soft treat.

Dogzilla Penguin Ball
Dogzilla Penguin Egg

Daisy experienced her first treat egg.  The Dogzilla Penguin Egg ($17) is a rubber egg that holds yummy treats for your dog.

She enjoyed pulling out her Caru Duck Recipe Bites on the sofa. I placed the dog cover on there to allow for better photos. She’s a happy doggie enjoying her toy and treats.

Grandma Browser Fido Friendly Fruitcake

The Grandma Bowser’s Fido Fruitcake ($6) smells delicious. It’s a wheat-free, corn-free, and soy-free treat made with 100% human grade ingredients. Daisy loved them. My husband was able to taste the apple. Of course, he had to try it! It’s a hard treat.

Bark & Co Treat Tin
Bark & Co Treat Tin

I saw the treat tin ($4) in Brandy’s December Review and thought it was adorable. It’s even more adorable in person. It’s perfect for me to throw in my tote when I go back and forth to the farm. The lid stays on tight. I love the dog on it!

The tin holds a fair amount of treats for the dogs. I am excited about the tin and will use it to store their yummy treats.

The BarkBox Welcome Box was a lot of fun for Daisy. Her favorite item from the box is the dog treats. I was pleased that the treats were clearly marked that they were made in the USA. I can’t wait to bring up some of the treats to Bella and Odie along with the penguin toy. The value of the box was $56.50 which is right in line with the regular value of the box. No worries about being shortchanged because it is a welcome box!
