Too Faced Mystery Bag Review 2015 box

For the past few years Too Faced Cosmetics has released a Mystery Beauty Bag or Box on Cyber Monday!  It happens only once a year and typically sells out in the morning. This year’s Too Faced Mystery Bag was $39.

I ordered a couple new goodies to play with – the Shadow Primer Duo and Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue!

The box came with a couple samples and a 25% off coupon for January!

The mystery bag contained 4 full-sized items and one deluxe size item!

Too Faced Mystery Bag Review 2015 metled rainbow

Melted Lipstick in Rainbow ($21) This is a Sephora VIB Rouge exclusive product so it’s pretty amazing that it’s in this box! I absolutely love the color, and the fuchsia looks great on me, I’m so excited by it and I love the incredibly saturated color! Swatch below.

Soul-Mates Bronzer (MSRP $34, currently on sale for $30.60) In Ross and Rachel. This is a gigantic bronzer!

The colors on this are amazing and really really wearable. There’s also a touch of blush for realistic bronzer application. I really like the slight shimmer (and it’s very slight).

I’m very happy with it because it’s a great color for me! All of it is!

Too Faced Mystery Bag Review 2015 Retractable Bronze Kabuki Brush

Retractable Bronze Kabuki Brush ($34) This brush is perfect for travel or for your tote and keeps everything neat.

I like the dark tips so it doesn’t look gross.

Too Faced Mystery Bag Review 2015 mascara

Better than Sex Mascara (travel size $12) Love this mascara – look at that crazy brush!

Rock & Roll Palette ($36) I think Too Faced should just have a palette auto-ship subscription. I love all of them!Too Faced Mystery Bag Review 2015 IMG_1603

Like all Too Faced palettes, it includes several looks that you can master out of the included shadows!

I can’t wait to try all of them!

Too Faced Mystery Bag Review 2015 rock & roll palette

This was a particularly good palette IMO and contained a mix of basic neutrals and some louder colors.

I swatched all of them with my fingers, as I always do. I think you can see how they blend better even if people on YouTube call me messy! I really love how Rap blended out.

I’m pleased to say that my predictions for the contents of the box were 100% right! And this box had a ridiculous MSRP of $137. If you’re a total Too Faced addict you may have had the palette already, but even so, it’s perfect for gifting. Love this one!

I can’t believe I somehow missed this awesome deal. Too Faced is my favorite make-up brand too. I have this palette and really enjoy it. Yes. There should be an auto-ship on their palettes. I love each and every one of them. 🙂

I have no idea how I missed this deal !!! I go through your website every day sometimes more than once and I guess you just can’t catch it all. Wasn’t this FANTASTIC ??? I am so sick I missed it. I will have to put it on the calendar for next year and be hopeful. I wrote you back when you asked about the new email format and I wrote you about a planner I am trying to find. I see the Erin Condren and I am just not 100% excited about it. I looked at A beautiful mess but their planners only go thru July. Is there anyone else you can tell me about ? I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I know you are SUPER SUPER busy but maybe I will get lucky and hear back from you. Thank you for all of your hard work, I really enjoy and appreciate it. Keep up the good work.

I think maybe plum paper? http://plumpaper.com/

fyi a lot of planners do start in june because that’s when planner companies release new lines. if i get one mid year i always tear out all the extra (unless it’s bound in a cover).

there is also emily ley http://www.emilyley.com/

and day designer http://daydesigner.com/#_l_92 (that’s some sort of referral link i have laying around). that one has free printables. i think their pages may be similar to emily ley.
